I am like any other Singaporeans aspire to own a credit card of my own. ha... Check thru the internet and found a few cards tailored for yappies like me. whahaha.... The discounts and other benefits look so tempting. However, thanks to MAS , i am unable to meet most of the stringent requirement. You know wat i mean.... :P
Well, my mum felt uncomfortable when i relate to her abt the use of credit card. She thinks that those are future money, why should we use it? Well, she is partly right and wrong. A card is useful particularly for pple like me who travels a lot. The downside is you might overspend unknowingly. I guess i am not too bad when comes to money management. So it is not tat bad...
Oh yes, came across a news today regarding 2 bloggers who have been charged with sedition for posting racist comments online. Afterall, when we blog, i think we should still exercise dicretion when we discuss issues relating to racial or religious harmony. It takes great effort to build this little nation.
Many pple dropped by your blog to take a peek. Why make comments tat could hurt the feelings of others? I mean u wont want to see pple attacking each other. The law protects us. It is for the benefit of everyone. Be a responsible adult and watch what u say!

Over the rainbow
Been a few days since i last updated my blog. Well, my poor daddy met with an accident and was hospitalised for 2 days. Fortunately, he was discharged earlier than expected due to his speedy recovery. Anyway, he is better now and thanks to pple who have shown their concern.
Life is still the same with work and work and more work. The Orchard station murder case was serious. I heard from a taxi driver that it was done by a maid. OMG! Sounded scary cos the head, hands and legs were found next to orchard mrt, then the other parts were found at reservoir. Another case of body being cut up... pple are getting ruthless....
Went to Mambo last wed for the last time before they closed for renovation. Very huge crowd turnout. I guess on the last Mambo ie 14 Sept, the crowd might be bigger. Met many friends there, Fiona, Annie, NJ, gym receptionist etc. ha... The mambo family had a small dispute. Saw some scuffle but not too sure what happened. Oh yes, i saw Orlinda Cho. Whahaha... I actually waved to her and she replied... friendly gal... Lost lots of weights though...
Life is hard... It's impt to take it easy. I have tried to relax whenever possible. I dun like the feeling of being stress even after work. If not, u will see a haggard guy very soon...

Immature relationship
Very tired after work today. Been rushing like mad to do many last min stuff. Fortunately, it went on smoothly. Thank god! But a colleague of mine suffered a different fate. Well, i think this is just part and parcel of working here. It seems tat everyone is eyeing for an attack anytime. Too scary!!!
On my way to work, i happen to eavesdrop a conversation between 2 students who stood behind me while waiting for the bus to come. ha... Funny conversation but VERY immature.
Girl: How's your gf?
Guy: She is useless. Find a guy to piss me off. Aiyah, can she grow up?
Girl: Oh, wat happen? So u broke off with her?
Guy: Dunno her lar. She found a guy who toyed her feelings. She knew it but went along.
Girl: wow! so bad ah?
Guy: Aiyah, she's young lar. She thinks by getting a guy, she can provoke me. Pls lar!
Then the bus came and i had to go off. That guy thinks he is very stylo which i felt like *bleah. His gf? I guess must be one of those shuay por lar. By the way, they are poly students whom i think it should be ard 18-19 years old. And i can safely confirm tat my analogy for relationship under 20 is entirely BULLSHIT is true afterall! ha... Opps! My hypothesis may be wrong. Correct me yar?
Of all the pple that i knew, those who are still in a relationship since they were 16-19, are less than even a percent. ha... Hearts are immature, many have the mentally that "pple have stead i must also have one". Alamak, when crisis evolved, none can withstand. Is that the way it should be? I dunno... Pple, prove me wrong!

Change of Plan
Destination for my holiday has changed. Ha.... Not visiting Da Chang Jin anymore, but to HK Disneyland. OMG! Wat a change! Why the sudden change? Thanks to the tour agent who cannot assure me a guranteed departure for the Korea trip. Other agents could not accomodate my leave, cos some trips are already FULL!
It's only early Sept yet the trips are fully booked. Cant imagine tat. Of course there were other agents but their itenery are not as impressive as the ones i liked. Decide to head to another place. After some discussion, Ken and i reached a win win situation, to go HK. Been to Shanghai and even Beijing, but never to HK. Excited and looking forward. I hope it will be a very SMOOTH one.
Met an old classmate of mine this afternoon at Paragon. It's Gerald. Ha... The tall guy who sat behind me in class during Sec 3 and 4. He din change much, still the same old Gerald that i know. But he said i changed a lot. He found me familiar but dare not confirm if it was me. So have i grown better or worse than before? :P
He reminded me of the time in our secondary school days where we used to exchange textbook with the class next door. Since both of us sat near to the door, it was extremely convenient for us to exchange textbook with some signal to the class next door. ha... During those days, books were heavy, lots of stuff to carry. To ease our burden, we share textbk with our "compatriots".
There's always books thrown at the doorstep and i will be collecting and distributing it. Sometime, i also borrowed from them... Those were the days, fortunately, we were never caught. Maybe the teachers closed their eyes.....

Yeah! It's Saturday!
Life is definitely good if you can stay at home to enjoy the peace and tranquility from work. Although i prefer work than study, it is difficult to remain stress free. hmm... Stress free may be a strong description, maybe i should use less stressful. I am always on my guard to ensure nothing goes wrong or if i have stepped on someone's tail. Otherwise.....
Wkend has been very precious to many working executive. Cos they work continously for 5 days before their break. For me, i cant afford such luxury. There is why i treasure my wkend off VERY much. Even if i dun go out but to sit at home, i also feel happy. Dunno why... Maybe i am a boy at home? *bleah
It's SAT!!!! Yeah! And that also mean party time. I always look forward to sat nite cos it is the only time that i club! Argh! STRESS RELIEVER! For a simple reason, not only i dance but also i enjoy looking at the "performance" put up by various regulars. Their actions never fail to make me laugh. Pretty entertaining. They dance very well.
Of course i must not forget abt those lovebirds. Whether straight, gay or bisexual, they behaviour seems to be like "eh wun lao pei" open this place. Then they will do things that couple do when the door is closed. hahahah.... sounded as if i am chi go beh....However, do you think they care? Doing it openly for everyone. So wat? I am very simple, if u dare to do it, i dare to watch it. hahahha.....
Shall see them tonight.... ha...

Messed up
Things went haywire in office. My heart nearly came out of my mouth when things went wrong. Fortunately or not, i was not the person held accountable to the error. However, i felt a bit sympathetic to those involved. What to do? I guess we will have to improve on that area.
Anyway, it's President Nathan second term in office. Saw him swearing in for the second time, with PM Lee on his right, CJ Yong on his left. It looks almost the same, same like what happened 6 years ago. Back then, i was still in SR. Now, in its rival company. Aiyoh, world is so small. Think i am really stuck with this kind of job.
Then it's Superstar Final. Yes, we voted a blind man as our superstar. Good wor, Singaporeans are very kind loving pple. Well, i am not being sacarstic. Fans of Kelvin, pls do not get offended. I enjoy his singing too, just tat i find it strange to vote him as our star. I knew Kelvin would win, his votes has always been in the lead. Not much of a surprise, i mean, if he loses, then it is really shocking!
One more day to a nice wkend. Yeah. Will be enjoying my off days over the wkend. FINALLY! As u know, i seldom get a full wkend off. So, time to rock again!

Unpredictable Surprise
I would love to go for a free and easy trip. Too bad i dun have the time to plan. Eventually, i have to let the tour agent do the job. I always dream of backpacking in places with friends who also enjoy travelling. Since i will be going with ken, i should forget abt backpacking....ha... I guess he wont be able to accept.
Peace at work. Thankfully! Probably the trip somehow brightened up my day. If not, boring day again. Receive calls, SMS the entire day to go Zouk. Why? It's Mambo nite!!! Zouk will be closing down in 2 wks time. There will be 2 more mambo nites before Zouk close for the day. Not to worry, it is only closed for renovation. I guess they will re-open in late October where i will be away in SEOUL. ha....
I turned down their offer one by one. Opps, i guess they were very disappointed. I din know my power could be so "influential". ha... Dun worry, they can still try out Dbl O on sat. Moreover, i need to work tomolo leh... Give uncle a little break. When i "jio" them, they were either busy or no time. When i am busy, it will be the other way round. Hai ya!
Oh yes, while on my way home, i met a teacher to be. My secondary school classmate, Huiyu. Been a long time since i last seen her. I noticed her when she alighted from the bus. We were in the same bus for goodness sake! Think we were too tired to notice each other. Thanks to technology, i alerted her with my HP. She also found out that we were in the same bus till she alighted and saw me onboard. ha... funny..... Life is so unpredictable and full of surprise!
