Relaz relaz at home today. Spent some quality time in the gym this afternoon. Before that, went for my dental appointment. Haiz.... It's almost 2 months but my crowning still not done yet. Something's wrong with my root canal. The dentist first filled it up then discovered something unusual and decide to remove and do it all over again.
Till now, i have taken more than five x-rays on my tooth. I wonder how many cells were dead . She said my root canal will be done by next week. I hope so. Thankfully, no extra charges. If not, wow lau... Few thousand dollars have been spent on my mouth. Dun really want to spent more.
First was bracing. My rabbit teeth were so prominent during my childhood years. Yes, the "Big Teeth" boy or bugs bunny have grown up. Teeth corrected plus extracted. Then comes the stupid discoloured tooth. If it was at the back of my mouth, i would not have cared. Too bad, it was rite at the front. Damn. Have to do something. Looks very strange with a discoloured tooth in front. Maybe i am vain. But i cannot stand it. Hope to put on the crown soon and makes me look better.

Sun Burning
My body is radiating heat after a fulfilling tan this afternoon. Swam 12 laps in the cool water before leaving. Fantastic!!! Few babes appeared at the pool. Quite daring to wear bikini but i guess they have the physiques. so no harm rite. Good for guys lar... But the gays there must have felt disgusted...ha...
Despite the heat, i stayed a while. Felt like a crab now. Ha... Red hot chilli type. K lar, then went out wif jun later. Whoo hoo... Esplanade was nice. Chill out there, gossip some stuff and relaz relaz.... There was this Makan Sutra Glutton Bay next to DXO. Think i have not been to the place for some time.
Makan Sutra Glutton Bay is an open air hawker concept, similar to Glutton Square in Orchard. The difference is Glutton Bay should be more of a permanent type. Sell hawker food, fried Kway Tiao, BBQ Chicken Wings, BBQ Seafood. Yum Yum! But whether the food taste better, well, that is for us to find out. Of course, price is dearer. I think patrons will prefer to walk across the street to LOFT at Marina Square . Also nice views with good food and air con... Singaporeans... oh well.....

SNAG vs METROSEXUAL
I was in bed almost time to turn in when i saw an old serial going on Channel 8. Yes, SNAG (Sensitive New Age Guy) or Xin Hao Nan Ren. Wow, that was a 4-5 year old show. It stars Wong Hei, Jeff Wang, Jason Oh, Mavis Hee, Samantha Toh and Casandra Susan See. When i woke up this morning , I flipped thru my album of collection and found the soundtrack. Yes, and it was a Wong Hei's autograph album.
I still remembered during the time when the show went on air in late 1999 . Then i was still a NS boy with lots of ambitions. Truthfully, i aspire to be a SNAG one day. Well, to lead a lifestyle of SNAG was cool. Having a little condo by yourself, with ur bed next to a window where it overlooks the beautiful skyline of Singapore. A simple deco will do to make it cosy.
You will wake up early in the morning in executive wear for work. Then meet up your friends at pub after work to gossip little things in life. How nice.... Of course, it will even be better if you have ur partner with you. SNAG is no longer "in" now. The more common term is METROSEXUAL.
Am i one? I wont say i am not. I work hard and play hard. I dun wear executive clothing to work. I dun hang ard Raffles Place area. I dun own a little condo by myself. BUT somehow, i do enjoy my work and my free time. I chilled out at clubs and gym. I meet my friends and love one over lunch and dinner. We gossip, anything and everything. Sometime, i listen to soothing music in my little room, reminiscing good old time. I also spent time reading tons of blogs to see how friends or even strangers are doing.
I am quite satisfied with wat i am having now. Of course, if i own a little condo, that will even be better. Looking back since 1999, I din manage to lead the kind of lifestyle Wong Hei led in the show. But i am not too bad either. hee.... I shall put in this way, this is Jeff's way of life. Not Jeff Wang hor.....

Work Hard Play Hard
Very tiring and long day. I was supposed to work on the earlier shift but somehow, i was swopped to do the late shift. Wow lau eh... Went early to work but in the end return home late. Rushed like mad after dinner cos there was a feed from Indonesia. Need to do liasing and editing. Really xiong! Made a hasty retreat after work to avoid the "Project SuperStar" crowd.
OMG, many fans were there since last night. I guess they wanted to have a good look at the wanna be and catch good seats in the studio. Anyway, this program has indeed spent a lot on publicity. There was a HUGE banner outside Mediacorp, even our canteen display standing pin up of the contestants. Faint.... They should put it outside for the public to see. Wat for put in the canteen for our staff to see? Funny lor...
Headed down to Zouk last nite after some persuasion from my colleague. Reached there ard 130am and most retros were gone. I only get to hear "Summer Rain". Then there was a mixture of R&B and some dance music. Slightly different from the mambo jambo in the past. Saw some gays dancing happily on the podium after 3am. Gosh, they got touchy and ..... shall not elaborate.
No wonder, Home Ministry and MICA banned the gay party this year. THEY SHOULD. I am sorry if there are gays reading this. I am not being personal but sometime their behaviours are really out of control. Yes, i know straight do that too but seriously, pple feel wierd naturally when the same sex do horny stuff. If it is a closed door event, hmm... maybe not too bad. But then again, it will encourage more pple to turn homo. Is this good or bad? I dunno but it is definitely against the norm.

Eerie eerie....
The Kallang Murder hit the streets over the last few days. It has been the hot topic for the week. I was assigned to write something abt the Chinese deceased, whose colleagues performed a ritual to appease her soul. Strange enough, i had a hard time looking for the tape.
I was told by someone tat the tape was in the editing room. When i went over, it was not there. It was with another colleague H. After checking out, the tape was with AP. However, when the AP brought the tapes to me, that particular tape was missing. Strange strange. Finally, the tape was found lying on the desktop of my colleague H.
That's not the end. While editing in the room, my video editor found the pictures very eerie. I din say much. But later, before going on air, the edited tape was missing!!! Everyone searched high and low but no avail. Fortunately, my video editor dubbed a copy and we put the dubbed copy on air. My anchor got mad and embarked on a searching mission. The tape was eventually found lying on the table top of another colleague. Really strange and eerie....

Student turn Colleagues
Warm Sunday afternoon. Too bad din go Sentosa but headed town for shopping. Joined the GSS by getting a shirt for myself at only $15. Cheap cheap! Went over to DFS and checked out the latest branded stuff. Been a very long time since i bought a branded shirt.ha...
Anyway, met Qiang for dinner. Well, this thoughful guy bought me a souvenir from his Europe trip. Nice bookmark from St Paul Catheral. Where's the place? In UK, where Prince Charles first marriage took place. I passed by the place when i was in UK the other time. Din really went in but from the outside, the place is majestic and grand. I think it is one of the largest catheral in Europe if i remembered correctly. Either second or third largest.
Then i found out from him that Daniel is going to be a teacher in MJR. OMG! An ex-manjusrian turn teacher almost ten years later. And he is going to teach mathematics with Mrs Lim. This is cool lor. I find this very interesting. We were once Mrs Lim's student and a decade down the road, they became colleagues. I think it is time for me to pay a visit to MJR to see how things have changed. Anyone wants to go with me?

Good Old Times
Wow... Lilian actually dedicated an entire entry to our "Chi Fan Yi Zhuo"!!! Whoo hoo.... Kind of miss the good old days... Yes, the days where we spent 42 days in China. There were so many funny things that went on in our group of 10? Not only Ron, Joe, Eve, Elieen, Jennifer, there were also Binni, Avia (wonder if i spelled it correctly) and the other girl whom i forgot her name. ha...
We always sit together during lunch or dinner, force ourselves to gulp down left-over by playing cheesy orientation type of games..... We ate bowls of rice, drank litres of soup and ate tons of fruits..... It was fun. I still remember the time where we wanted to catch the flag rising ceremony at Tiananmen Sq. We woke up early in the morning at 4 or5 am, upon reaching there, the ceremony was over. We were so disappointed and headed back to the hotel for dou jiang you tiao.....hahahaha.....
We played games and Joe always win. While working at Suzhou, we met every night and gossip abt different things. And if some of you still remember, i coloured by hair at Suzhou. Then we took a photo. hahaha..... It was during this time that our friendship strengthened. I am glad we are still in contact. Other than my other poly friends, our "chi fa yi zhuo" will always be there.... Cheers to our group!!!
