Opps! My mistake. It was Toronto. Not Vancouver. My fault. Anyway these places are in Canada. So should be fun. ha... Will be looking fwd to meeting Ron, Joseph and Lilian next week. Wau lau eh... Hard to meet up especially when we need to work except lilian who could relaz relaz till her holiday ends. ha....
So much for that. Spent an enjoyable day with jun this evening. But sad to say, others are done with their papers while she is still struggling for her last. Guess she will still have to endure a bit. Nvm, we still have a holiday to look fwd right?
Life of a Singaporean Student ends when he/she finish the last paper in the final year. Like wat michelle said, an end to singapore's conventional education system. Of course, we still have masters, PHD but i guess most will want to put a stop for the time. Although i grumble a lot on work, i prefer working than studying. I hate the feeling of mugging for exams. Too stressful!
However, after a year to my final paper, when i think back, my school days are over. I pity kids nowsaday for all the changes in the education system. In our society, paper qualification still counts. Yes, successful entreprenuers are non-grad, but come to think of it, w/o sufficient qualification, u will be turn down by many corporation. Realistic! Do u think Mr Sim will allow his son or daughter to skip school? NO! Too bad, paper qualification may not be necessary but it serves as a useful weapon!

Yea, education has changed much. In the past, a degree will have given you a competitive advantage. Nowadays, having a degree doesn't neccessary give you any advantage while not having one will certainly put you at a competitive disadvantage!
