Suay Por Effect

My second entry for the day. Ha... Decide to post something tat i find very funny. Written by one of the blogger who was frustrated by relationship. I guess it's common among many pple. Fortunately, i dun have to see thru all these, cos SHE is decisive and mature enough.

I would call the analogy below "Suay Por Effect"

This is just a general analogy about the weirdness of women:

Girl throws tantrums.
Guy: "hey sweetie pie, what's wrong?"
Girl: "NOTHING!"
Guy: "then why are you throwing tantrums?"
Girl: "NOTHING!!"

Since nothing is wrong, according to the lady, guy continues with his ways, which of cos angers the lady, cos SOMETHING IS OBVIOUSLY WRONG. Guy detected aloofness in the girl, and probes again. Girl says NOTHING!!!! again. So this happens a few times, and quarrels ensue.


as i said before we can't read minds. if we could, we wun need to study anymore do we? men are mechanical by nature (explains the huge imbalance of sexes in engineering/math faculties). We need to be told if something's wrong. i'm not saying we WILL NEVER KNOW what's wrong, just that making things clear would make things easier isn't it??? apparently that's not wired in women's minds. They expect us to KNOW what is wrong. They expect us to be know-it-alls. They have something up their minds, but all they can say is the opposite.

Guy: "Where shall we eat?"
Girl: "Anything's fine with me."
Guy: "Ok let's go Mezzanine."
Girl: "Dunwan."
Guy: "Ok then let's go have some sushi."
Girl: "I just had some a few days before."
Guy: "What about Burger King?"
Girl: "Fattening."
Guy: "SO WHERE DO U WANNA EAT?"
Girl: "Anywhere lah, you cannot decide meh??"

Dun tell me you never encountered this. Next one is quite common too.

Girl: "Hmm this top looks nice. Should I try it?"
Guy: "Go ahead!"
Girl: "But it's too frilly... Dun really like it."
Guy: "ok...."
Girl: "But i like the colour..."
Guy: "Then try it on..."
Girl: "But the cutting makes me look fat doesn't it?"
Guy: "No, looks ok to me..."
Girl: "CAN YOU GIVE ME BETTER SUGGESTIONS? WHY ARE U ALWAYS DISSUADING ME FROM BUYING CLOTHES???"
Guy: "..."

Happens all the time. To me, to you, to most men out there.

Girl: "My frens think you are fat/not gentlemanly enough/NOT RICH ENOUGH/not smart enough (take your pick)."
Guy: "Man that sucks. Do you concur with them?"
Girl: "No, of cos not."
Guy: "well i can change for you if that's wat you want..."
Girl: "nope i dunwanna impose any expectations on you."
Guy: "Ok...."
Girl: "BUT i think you really are a little fat/not gentlemanly enough/NOT RICH ENOUGH/not smart enough."
Guy: "ok then i will try and change..."
Girl: "But i really dunwanna impose ANY expectations on you..."
Guy: "in that case, alright then..."
Girl: "But... i need someone who is less fat/ungentlemanly/POOR/stupid..."
Guy: "OK OK I WILL TRY AND IMPROVE MYSELF!!"
Girl: "But i really dunwanna impose any expectations on you...."
Guy: "THEN????"
Girl: "WHY ARE YOU SHOUTING AT ME???"

Familiar? so you do want us to change or do you not?????

To men putting up with all of the above scenarios, i salute you.
