Devils Bar

Everything looks the same. No significant changes. Yes, it is still the old devils bar. Met ken after work as we decide to find a place to chill out. Ken suggested Devils to reminisce the good old days. It has been almost a year since i last visited Devils. The last time was during Christmas, when Larry invited me for a drink there.

Anyway, the interior deco remain unchanged. It's Dennis Foo, the man behind St James Powerstation. The toilet is still as dirty as ever. Ha... I even walked ard and recalled the incident when a table flew across me some years back. Those were the rowdy days. The crowd seems different today. More working executives this time.

The only change is the band. I kinda of miss the days when Hady performs at Devils. He is the man. The current band doesnt sing as good as Hady's. Even the ladies that sang along with him were not there. What a waste. However, if you are the live band type, Devils bar is the choice. I enjoy chilling out with a band performing on stage. I dun need to dance all the time. ha....

During the day, it was work and more work. I was on an assignment when i met this yappy who drives a sports car. Very young, probably in his early 30s. He holds a senior post in a large organisation, happily married and flys ard like nobody business. Speaking to him makes me feel so small. What happen to me?

I guess there are some pple who are just luckier than others. Like wat my mum says, pple lead different lives. It is the result of their previous deeds. Everyone should be satisfied with their life. If not, we will live in pain and agony. Sound so philosphical and religious. To a certain extend, it is true.

It is finally weekend. Its my off day. Yipee... Intend to head to the gym in the late morning. Then to meet David n gang for dinner before proceeding to my favourite haunt. whahaha... Its Saturday... remember? Time to be intoxicated and boogie. I love Saturday!
