Election Disappointment

Really tired after a few days of continuous torture. Has been the most stressful time in my life for this period. Work late, tight deadlines, be accurate and most important of all to remain neutral at all times. Need to destress myself after this wkend. Cant wait for wkend to come.

I have been very disappointed with how the ruling party handle the entire election. Thru all these years, they have provided Singapore with good economic growth, stability, low unemployment. However, when come to the campaigning period, things just got out of hand.

I am sorry but i cannot accept the tactics that they have adopted. Their strategy to win is fine, but i would prefer to see a more gentleman war. Regardless of how the opposition behaves, i am sure they can handle with better strategies than this. It is very regretful that things turn out this way. Pple really get sick.

I mean voters have eyes. They know who is right and who is wrong. We dun need pple to keep reminding us. This is sad. I prefer to see parties bringing up attractive proposals such as how to develop the estate, how to create better employment etc. Whichever side is good, we vote for them.

Then it is up to the party to fulfill their promises. IF they cant do it within 5 years, intelligent voters will vote them out. Singaporeans are better educated. They know wat is good for them. Well, too bad, not many attractive proposals were being brought up. I only hear discrediting this and that. Haiz....

Maybe wat my colleague said is true. I am living in a perfect world. In fact, the political scene has its dark side too. I was too complacent. It's time to rethink. Results will be known by Sunday morning.
