Little nephew

He was here when i came home from work. As usual, run around the house, shouting for his mum and ask tons of silly qns. By the way, he is only 2 years old but he seems to know a lot of things. He could answer you many qns that u think only a 4-5yr old kid could answer. ha. I think he will be an intelligent kid when he grows up. Wonder if there is something to do wif their young parents. My sister got married very young at the age of 21. Her husband is only 22. So, it might be scientifically correct that the younger you have a child, the better the quality of your child will be. hmm.... think some pple will react strongly to this statement. ha.. but this is how i feel.

But seriously, i am contemplating if getting married at a young age is  suitable. At the age of 21, most would still be schooling, get entangled in love problem or even waiting for their dear to do this do that. To be a mother or a wife is totally out of qn for many pple of that age. But my sister manage to overcome this! To a certain extend, i admire her courage! As a mother now, she is more responsible and have matured a lot compared to her counterparts. Till today, i could still hear stories like bf or gf is the entire world. Childish or sentimental? i dunno.

When u become a wife or mother, your role changed. I asked my sister if love u love me  was still an issue. She said if you have no money, then you will really be in trouble. Moreover, there is no time to think abt all this love stuff, cos her son needs her more than anything. Yeah rite, she said she was silly in the past abt all the stupid relationship things. ha, from a point of an experience person. Looks pretty conflicting cos she once had these types of problems and probably had grown out of it earlier than anyone else. I do agree wif her at time cos reality is often harsher than dream. Dream or reality? hmm... everyone loves to dream in reality.

Mummy's Stories

well well, heard lots of story from my mum after coming home from work. First was my neighbour. When i stepped into the hse, found a tv sitting on my dining table. Initially tot it was my dad who brought back an old tv set. My bro told me it belonged to our neighbour. My mum started telling me stories about our neighbour.

Story 1
My neighbour is married about 60 plus. They had a son who is 31. However, the son did not like to work and depended on his parents.  The only breadwinner for the family is the poor father. The son kept asking money from his mother and this irritated the father. The father scolded his son for laziness and not wanting to look for a job. He was so angry that he asked my mum to check out his room. God! My mum said there were tons of rubbish in the room, plastic bags, newspapers, bird cages. The father said his son was mad or siao liao! ha. He would laze around during the day, at night watch tv and more tv. So his father confiscated the tv and ask my parents to keep for him first. HA! Can you imagine tat?? a 31 year old guy behaving like a 15-16 yr old. I agree wif my mum tat the son is really too much.

Story 2
As usual, my cousin story again. He is getting married wif his wife at the end of the year. It shoud be a happy occasion but it turned out to be pretty bad. He quarrelled wif his mother which is my auntie all becos of his wife. His wife wanted some dowry from my auntie which my auntie disagreed. The reason being my auntie had given the female side 10 tables for their wedding dinner, to be held at Sentosa! wow! sounds good but old pple felt disgusted and troublesome. Thanks to the couple for wanting something different!!! Different also means more money. Where to get money? from parents again lor....

Why why why??? the morale of the 2 stories are parents are reliable source of ATM. Get whenever you want. I really cannot believe wat i hear, one is a 31 yr old jobless guy, the other is a graduate wif good job and yet still asking for more money from parents for wedding!!! Just find it hard to accept! No wonder my auntie is screaming off her head!

Too happening already. Think better dun gossip too much. I will also get wedding one day. ha...

Breaking News !

Yes, after my lunch in the office, suddenly there was a call. The next thing i knew was a body found lying on the tracks of SMRT in Bishan. A colleague of mine checked wif the authorities to verify the facts before i start pumping out news. Had to race against time cos the infor comes in almost every 5-10 mins. My colleagues rushed to the scene to fish out more infor.  Phew, rush and rush!! Fortunately, i was pretty calm. ha. Was shocked when i first heard the incident.  Why? Another suicide case or just fallen off from the platform? How safe are the SMRT trains? I think platforms without doors unlike those stations in the underground turned out to be a good place for suicide or plainly dangerous spot! Maybe more should be done!

Anyway, enough of work. Now sitting peacefully at home, enjoying aircon. The concert with FIR yesterday was fantastic. They are really good singers. I loved the song Lydia. Yeah! It was their first song. They sang a series of songs from their latest album. The auditorium in NTU was packed with many students and supporters.  I had no seat but to sit on the floor. FIR was good to us by asking everyone to stand. I had to stand throughout the entire concert but worth it. Thanks FIR for all the music!

Oh yes! There is amazing race today! Missed AXN version. So caught channel 5 version at 10. I loved the bowling mums and the midget team! ha.. they were great. Hopefully they wont get eliminated so soon. Felt a bit funny when one of the team members cried and another one felt sick while eating caviar. They had finally left the American continent. Look forward to their race in the middle east and Asia!

Anyway, very tired now. Going to bed soon. Tired after a hard day work...

Free !

Wat a great morning! I am now able to take a break from work now as my colleague takes over from me.  Felt a bit sleepy and hope to go back home once the clock strikes one. Will be going to NTU tonight to catch FIR live in concert. They are one of my favourite vocal group from Taiwan. I would love to see and hear them sing Lydia tonight.

Din get a chance to go to the pool yesterday cos the weather remained gloomy. Got no choice but to give up and went to the gym instead. Singaporeans are really getting more health conscious. Public gyms and pools are getting crowded. Saw many students rushing to gym to do their work out. Well, i think this is good as they will have less time to roam in the streets or shopping centres. As usual, did some bench press, biceps curl and crunches. Felt healthier and fitter every time when i stepped out of the gym. ha. I try to make it a habit to exercise regularly, at least twice a week.

Read Kenneth blog just now and find that he is still as sentimental as before. Well i guess it might be due to all the stuff that he had gone thru. I am pretty sure he can handle it well as he had matured quite a lot. Rite?

Still waiting for 1pm... after tat, i will be free... till tomolo afternoon b4 i come back to this challenging yet exciting work place.

Brand new day from 4am!!!

hey hey... woke up around 4am this morning to rush for work. wat a great time to wake up. The mini-van driver gave a warm greeting and i was stuck in the van for like half an hour b4 i arrived at my office ard 5.30am. It was pretty hectic this morning cos i need to cover some duties for my colleague who was on leave. no choice lar.

Some things happened to a good friend of mine last nite. Relationship problem again. Wat can i say, he had fallen in love wif someone whom he should not have loved. The poor girl has a bf currently, however, my friend somehow just got attached to this girl during their work. Both seems to have confessed their love to each other but my friend felt terrible if he is to go steady wif this girl. He asked me for advice but poor me was in a dilemma like him. We felt uncomfortable to get involved in a relationship triangle.

1. Did the relationship went sour between the girl and her existing bf or
2. Was there really a change of heart from the girl???

I dunno, only they themselves know the truth. I feel that there is no correct or exact answer for a relationship. However, if anyone talks about ethical values, then i do agree that it is definitely wrong and unbecoming of you to get involved in a 3 way relationship. For him, relationship has always been rough. Poor him. For me, thanks to my "her" for being understanding and patient. I am happy to spend my time wif her and i always enjoyed her company.

Anyway, so much for relationship, going for a swim in the pool. Din hit for the pool for quite sometime after i came back from KL in june. hmm... hopefully the gloomy weather can improve as i am leaving office soon....

My first time...

wow! my first time in blogging. heard so much abt this but dun have the time for it. Was inspired by some bloggers on this and decide to try it out for myself. hmm... looks pretty cool...

Been very busy since  last week when my work began. Was very hectic at work once i stepped into the office. The powerful thing would be to wake up very early in the morning to go to work... 4am in the morning!!! OMG! Everyone is still tugging under their bedsheet. I guess some pple would be turning in during tat time. However, i still have the privilege to work in the afternoon sometimes say 12pm. I work on shift.

Met up wif many friends last week. My hall mate, ex colleague, best friend, gf. It was like rushing for "tong gao". Stayed till quite late and have to catch a cab or night rider home. Despite all these, i enjoyed my company with them. Got to hear lots of stuff from them... oops... bagua again.

Was at the MP dialogue session this morning wif my MP. Once again, Singaporeans have proven their renowed complaining skills. The residents are complaining and requesting lots and lots of stuff from the MP. I suddenly realised it was not easy to be an MP. Be it PAP or the opposition ward, their purpose is to improve the quality of our life. There was one resident who asked for a coffee shop in one of those HDB flats void deck. How can? I mean it is feasible but which block. I am sure no one would like a coffee shop to be situated in your void deck. Consider the noise, oily stuff, smoke, hygiene, to say is easy but to implement it is tough.

Then the budget constraints. There are lots of projects in the estates. We have to prioritise. I mean the MP cannot just implement whatever you request. Well, i am not trying to be very pro-government, neither am i anti-government. But think carefully in their position, they have got lots of constraints to work. I am trying to be an understanding Singaporean. ha... seems quite patriotic.. maybe National Day is coming..

Oh yes! Manage to get a couple of tickets for NDP. Thanx to my company. Although it is the preview, i am quite delighted cos i will be watching it wif my best friend and 'her'. yeah!
