Taking Masters?

I was cursing earlier due to some unhappy incident. It was really damn piss lor. I dun understand why pple could ignore you when they actually see your presence. Dun tell me abt being too busy. I am standing right in front of you and u choose to ignore me. I am an invisible man. Yar... Sometime, i really wonder where have their basic manners gone to?

Anyway, i am surprised to learn that NTU's MBA rank the best in Singapore. Whoo.. I am still thinking if there is a need for me to do masters in the future. It is a choice between MBA and Masters in Com Studies. There are so many factors to consider if i really decide to take up one. It is never easy to work and study at the same time.

There is also the money factor. Will i be able to cope? Is the course necessary? I heard it will be a lot of academic plus research stuff. Well... Previously, i din want to take up a post graduate course due to the shit i went thru in NTU. However, everything changed when i see the need to upgrade. ha... well.... We shall see how things go bah.

It is just the beginning of the work week. There are many things to do this week. A course is coming up. Need to wake up early in the morning. Then work till late hours. Argh... So tiring. Nevermind, i shall look fwd to my off day.

Weekend Over

Finally came home from work. It has been some time since i worked the late shift. Went to office in slippers and guess wat? Got a cut on my toe. Irritating. Suffer the same fate as my fellow colleagues. My office is currently undergoing some renovation. There are lots of "danger" spots that creates accident easily. Work Hazard lor....

Back to last night... Whoo hoo. Had a wonderful time with the regulars. As usual, some came some went missing. But the veteran like ken and i will are always present. Gavin finally turned up after missing for 2 weeks. Joelle came too but left on a drunk mode. ha.. Huixin and Cyndi came too. I guess they prefer zouk.

Ken is not a good drinker. Only a few glass and he is flying. In the end, he went home earlier cos his head is spinning badly. I was quite ok but pple tot i was drunk. I doubt so. I agree i was high not drunk. I will never allow myself to get drunk cos i am vomit phobic. whahahaha... I know my limits. Dun challenge me lor. I will run away. hahahaha....

I was looking at dearie blog when she wrote about her experience going after the stars. I was erm... one of them lor. ha.. BUT i am not as crazy as them, not to the extend of booking a cab or to stay outside the TV station just to catch a glimpse of the stars. I always attend events like album signing, free concert. I will be very early (not the nite before k) at the venue to get a good view.

I used to go Marina Square, Orchard to see the stars. Of course, the other reason is to meet our favourite Dj. I was a radio freak remember. Ken and i would chat with the Djs to find out more abt them and their work. That is how i got to know Yongmei and others eventually. Long story. ha... I remembered ken and i used to say those stars that have been seen by us will be cursed.

Actually quite true. Look at Top Twinz. Ha.. I doubt the current generation knows abt them. They are 2 taiwanese guys who came together to form a team. Before anyone knows abt them, they are out. Then, its Panda Xiong, who grew so fat after he left the music scene. Next Mavis Hee, who became cranky when she left entertainment field for good. There are still a lot but i shant continue. This is so interesting....

Alrite, its time for bed. Another working day. Got to endure a bit before my break on Wed. Looking fwd already...

Happy Travel Agency

I was almost in bed when i suddenly saw something on TV. Whahaha... HA BI LV XING SHE or Happy Travel!!!! The serial that brought Peter Yu and Quan Yifeng together. whahaha... I laughed my head off when the song came on. Yep, by Karen Mok! And guess who i saw on that show? Lau Leng Leng, the second runner up Star Search winner in 1997!!! whahahaha... Did anyone remember she was caught consuming drugs few years ago?

Then i saw Sebastian Sim. Whahaha... The gay... whahahaa... Its funny lor. Peter Yu was the leading actor. Gosh. He was so popular during those days. Know wat, Yifeng was spotted with long hair. I think she looks better with her short hair. I almost forget that there was Malcom Ng. Another star wannabe from Star Search. I cant believe it! How abt Weng Ruiyun, Fu Youming, Xu Decai? They have disappeared from TV for good.

I always enjoy watching old serials. Cos they are cheesy and funny. I like to look how the fashion was like in the past, how Singapore was like in the 90s. Kekeke... I remembered when this show debuted, i was in Poly. Cos we always sing Karen's song. ooh... Must be the 4 of us again, Ken, Jiawei and Siew Lian. How can DAC live without the dyanmic 4? whahahaha....

Talking abt travel, i was browsing some of my friends' friendster. Ooh... I want to go for another trip. My travelling bug is making me itch again. I saw pictures of Budapest, Chicago, Vienna, Oslo and Stockholm. Almost fainted lor. So nice and i want to be there. Ha... It is going to cost me a bomb if i really embarked on the trip.

Nevermind, i shall save a bit first before i really decide my next trip. I was out with dearie this evening. She asked the same questions too. I am not too sure where's my next trip. Anyway, i know it's a working day for me later. Shall endure a bit and its OFF day AGAIN! whoo hoo...

New Found Master

Met David for dinner and coffee this evening. Ha... All for a good cause. I hope my little assistance could help him. Whahaha... I cant mention much as it was not suppose to be revealed. Anyway, we spent a couple of hours talking and i can see he really enjoys mambo. He shall be my master. He spends a lot of time at home mastering all the songs and even dance step. Shifu....

I was asking him why he love mambo so much. His reply is short, the feel. It is something like when u eat something nice, u feel satisfied and good. Like i enjoy the cup of Ice Lemon Tea from my canteen auntie. Yes, it is that kind of feeling. It struck me for a while. Cos.. I had tat feeling too. whahahaha...

He said it is really hard to find pple like us of the same interest. Cos we are there for the same objective. To meet up and do the same routine. Routine? Yep, the dance that we always perform without fail. To me, once a week is fine. If i got to do it a few times in a week, i really get very bored. Ha... His words of wisdom enlightened me. I must say he is very talented.
---

I was checking my email when i received a mail from Insurance Company. I got a shocked. Cos i dun remember signing up any policy with anyone. After going thru the mail, i realised it was a free insurance i got, for a policy that i accidentally signed up when i paid my bills thru AXS. I am so angry cos i tot filling up the form was for a lucky draw.

Since the insurance is free, i am fine. BUT i know the representative will call me up. It is a marketing gimmick. I am prepared to tell them to cancel the free policy immediately and stop them from harrassing me. I am disgusted by the way they lure the customer into the trap. I was caught unaware. Actually, i have been receiving a few sales calls this morning. Very piss.

I wonder wat's wrong with today. So many sales made to me but none of which interest me. Damn...

CNY Gift

After 2 good years of hard work, almost everyone in office is awarded a LCD monitor. Yep, finally!!! Many colleagues including me were freaking excited lor. Most of them have been working on CRT monitors for many years. Even schools have converted their monitor to LCD. And because of this, I was a little surprised when i first stepped into the office.

Did a little spring cleaning. Cleaned up my desk as it was pretty dusty. Recycled some materials for future uses. I guess despite the hectic work schedule, everyone is excited with their new screens. For now, i have a 19 inch monitor. Ha... Better resolutions. We call it a chinese new year gift for everyone in the office.

Anyway, it was also an unusual occasion where 3 of us had dinner together. The "3 of us" refers to the gang of 3 who joined the company about the same time. Yep, 3 of us came on Jan of 2005. How should i call it? Class of Jan 2005? whahahaha... I cant imagine 3 of us, sitting together for dinner, after 2 good years. Many came and many left. I seriously wonder who will be the next one leaving?
---

Was msning to a Primary School classmate last night. He is leaving his existing employer soon for studies. I think he had enough of his work and is time to move on. I applaud for his courageous move. No income but to pursue his dreams. There are many times when many could not bring themselves to do it cos of a lack of income. In the end, they continue to suffer in silence. Haiz...

Hao was asking if we should have a new year celebration cum my bday celebration. MY GOD! New Year, Can. Bday? ha.... Cos he wanted a mini gathering session. It has been a long long time since 4 of us get together. I remembered there was one year, i managed to get everyone to turn up during my bday. So touching! Well, since my bday is so close to lunar new year, it is not a bad idea to celebrate it concurrently.

In less than 4o days, it will be my 25 birthday again. ha... Well, wat should i wish for? More money bah... hahahaha.....

NTU Gals

Did many things over this weekend. ha... None was associated with preparing for Chinese New Year. Met up with my NTU classmates, Chin, Yvette and Yan. It has been a very long time since i met them esp Yvette. Everyone is doing fine. However, the meeting up session turned out to be a complaining session. ha... Its all abt work.

When we get to hear stories from other friends, we realised everyone is in the same kind of shit. Mentally stressed and exhausted. Due to the extreme work load, these friends of mine cried over at work. This is really frightening. I guess working in Singapore is purely stress and more stress. Even dearie needs to wake up at 3am. MY GOD!

We bitched for a few hours. And i must thank them for the enlightening session. It makes me appreciate work even more. It is never easy to work under demanding boss. U either face it or leave for good. However, for many it is for the sake of money. I got to agree too. One of them is extremely well paid. So for the shit work, at least there is monetary return.

We intend to have a gathering when Ed is back from Thai. Yep, that king will be back for CNY. I was still wondering if he intends to stay there for good. Ha... I was wrong. I think he miss us. ha.. Really mah, so many friends over here waiting for his return. It is time our NTU gang reunite. I miss the days when we celebrate festive occasion together. The most memorable one is the one during new year eve when we count down at Gavin's hall. BEST!

Back to last night, it was fun. Most regulars were there except Jason. Strange. The most veteran clubber was not there. Anyway, we drank a bit, partied till our legs cant take it. Eventually, i have to send ah rong home. I was laughing in the cab when he make his way back. Swaying from side to side. Talking cock also... ha...

Anyway, its another working day tomolo. It will be a long day cos meeting.. Argh... But nevermind, its payday soon. ha... Great wk ahead!!!

Well Spent Day

Well spent Friday as well as off day! It all started with a drink with my colleagues at Poolroom Bar. Since its free entry, we decide to head there for some nice drinks. I must say my colleagues are freaking good drinkers. I think we are just over stress at work. ha... I drank Lychee Martini and Chivas Regal. Now i know why my dad enjoys Chivas.

I was not high despite a few drinks. So we chatted till wee hours abt work and other colleagues. Eventually, we went supper at a nearby coffeeshop. I love mee pok. Ha... Finally reached home and receive a msg from dearie at 3am plus. Shock! She was abt to leave for work from home. Yes, at tat unearthly hour. I used to wake up at that hour for shift work when i was in SR.

I called her and she was already on her way. Thankfully her father fetched her there. I gave her my moral support by staying up a while. Watch "Si Ge Hao Se De Nan Ren" before i finally gave in and sleep. hee... Since its off day, i attempted to wake up late. However, i still wake up at 10am plus. ha... So read papers, walked ard the house, then its back to bed. Finally wake up at 1pm plus for lunch.

Went to gym before meeting dearie. Fortunately she had a half day off. Despite so, she was very tired, thanks to the unearthly hour she woke up this morning. Anyway, the gym was very quiet this afternoon. At one time, i was the only patron. Excellent. Met Xueni lor. My god. The world is so small. I last met her at Expo 2 weeks ago, now at Vivo. Really cannot do evil stuff. hahaha...

Dearie came in the eveing. I was so hungry that i gobbled chicken rice and fried kway tiao. Hee... We walked around and enjoyed the scenery of Sentosa. Was good lor. I like the company and so relaxing. It would be good if we dun have to work everyday. hahaha.. But then, that also means no money. Haiz....

Met Ken late at night over at Mdm Wong. This is the second time we are there after it reopens. Music was good, retro. It reminded me of the old days when we used to club at MU. That was long time ago lor. I was tired by 2 am. Called for the day and here i am back home blogging away. It will be another working day later. Its also wkend. Feeling good!

Sentimental Memories

Was thinking abt wat dearie said last night when she mentioned being sentimental. Are you someone who always think abt the past? For me, i try my best to remember good and wonderful moments. I would avoid bad memories. However, there are still some negative memories that i find it very hard to erase.

Is it wrong to be sentimental then? Of course not. It depends on the situation you are in. I do agree that if one keeps clinging on to his/her failed relationship, it is unhealthy. Frightening and anxiety filled memories should be forgotten too. Otherwise, one will never progress. The person will be trapped in a world of its own.

I was watching the repeat telecast of Living in Geylang just now. Ha... Yep. Brought me memories again. Lina Ng, breaking a bottle, with sharp edges pointing at a guy. Ha.. Who could forget that scene? It was one of those moments that i always gossip with my classmates during poly. I remembered Ken and I used to imitate Lina Ng. Ha... Its poly life again.

Lunar New Year song. I am a big fan of CNY songs. Dun ask me why. It always bring me good memories of Chinese New Year. I would turn on the radio extremely loud at home when it plays CNY songs. I like the auspicious lyrics. ha... Yes, its me again. When i was in SR, i did tat too, even as early as 7am in the morning. It shocked my colleagues. whahaha... I told them its necessary.

972 has been playing CNY songs since Monday. In the past it was 100.3 who start the ball rolling. Not sure if they are still doing it. Whahahaha... I am so uncle. So on the way to work, i will tune in to Yongmei's program. I get very high on bus when CNY songs are played. Anyway, I think i am crazy. I was wondering if Dbl O could play CNY songs on the eve, it would be perfect. whahahah...

Overwork

This is the WIERDEST day i ever had working here. It is not only abt rushing but many last minute work! Not only me but EVERYONE in the department. I was like seeing pple running ard like nobody business. Dun even ask a question cos u might be shot instantanously. ha... Everyone is working in full attention. Wah... Sounds pro but STRESS!

It is only the first day of a work week and most are drained out by the end of the day. I took a cab home eventually. Overwhelmed by wat happened just now. It started from 3pm all the way till 1030pm. I guess for most, there was not even time for toilet break. I freaked out during the eleventh hour too. Some silly mistakes tat resulted in slight glitches.

Anyway, met one of the project stars before i left work for home. Some school girls were waiting for Nat Tan, the NS boy. He was pretty nice as he opened the glass door for me. Koh was waiting for me too cos i was supposed to pass him some tickets. The girls then requested Koh to help them take pictures. ha... Before i left, i nod to Nat and he smiled back. He sure knows basic courtesy.

In the afternoon, i met Joey. Yep. She is finally here after 2 good years. We are now colleagues again. whahaha.... I must say she looks very different. So arty and hip liao. I told her we should meet up for lunch or something for a reunion. After all, Tyler and Tan are also with us. Its a big reunion!

Peaceful Sunday

Its a Sunday and i have a good rest at home. After all that partying, it is time to return to some peace. As usual, i sleep late but i wake up early. Its the biological clock in me. Slept for a few hours and i am bright and shine. I told dearie pai miah. Want to sleep a bit more also cannot. Woke up then read papers.

Decide to go to the gym but was raining. So waited till the rain became smaller. Jordan came and i played with him. His mum enrolled him in a class on Sunday to brush up his English. ha... Kids nowaday are really stress. Even my colleagues are doing that too. I wonder when my turn comes, will i be doing tat too. Still some time i guess.

At the gym i met Mulian. I call this fate. We were supposed to meet at Dbl O cos she was coming with her friends. Eventually, she went St James instead. So we din meet up. Surprisingly, i met her at the gym. She was with her hubby. I told her we are fated to meet. She was asking if we would like to drop by her house during lunar new year, for informal gathering. I would love to but see how things go.

Reached home in the evening feeling hungry. Ate my hor fun with Jordan again. Ha.. He was still ard when i came home. He started to make fun of me. This little imp. I took photos of him and he was making so many funny faces. I feel very homely when he is ard. Having a kid is not too bad at times. It really liven up the house.

Its a cool night. Going to sleep soon. It will be another long wk. 4 days action in a row. Still need to attend the weekly meeting. Haiz.... Off over liao!

A Friend's Bday

It was indeed Kaz birthday celebration last night. Many of his friends, classmates, neighbours turned up. Hah... Neighbour? Yup. I din know pple are still so close to their neighbours these days. For me, my neighbours are newly wed couple with kids. ha... Not my age lar... Even when i used to stay in Toa Payoh, I dun have neighbours of my age. I am only very close to AUNTIES. ha... Auntie Killer!

Back to celebration, Kaz brought his gf along. Nice girl. Had a good chat with her since we majored in accounting. There were so many things we could catch up on. ha... All abt accounting. Bleah... Anyway, Kaz has a very understanding and witty gf. Lucky him. BUT cant fight with me. whahahaha...

He was dead drunk by 2am. His friends ko him within minutes? I guess he is not a good drinker. His gf is a better drinker. He threw up a few times till there were nothing left. Thankfully, Melven, Alex and Larry carried him to the toilet. I was erm.... Ya, scare of vomit. ha... So i stayed to accompany his gf in case she get pissed. :P

Larry and I have to carry him down the steps of Dbl O. Ha... Fortunately, he is not very big size. If not, i dun think i can carry him. I was so afraid we will fall. When we were finally downstair, i have to look after him as Larry went to look for their friends. He threw up again. I reminded Larry to get a plastic bag in case he threw up in the cab. Carried him to the already waiting cab. What a celebration! ha...

It was kinda fun with Melven and gang too. We drank, partied and gossip together. Young pple are so energetic. Me too! I drank Lychee Martini.. really nice drink wor.. No wonder Suping is a fan of Lychee Martini. My same-name friend was there too. Ha... I seriously think he has been inspired by us to club every week. ha....

Talking abt bday celebration, i guess when one grows older, u tend not to celebrate. Ha... Cos u r inching towards middle age. Sound scary but its a reality. I wont want a DRUNK celebration. ha.... I am the pandang type! Send me well wishes. It will be fine. Aiyoh, my bday also coming soon. Yes, it will be 25 again. Let's see how it goes....

Irritating turn Nostalgic Night

Very Piss! Very Agitated! Very Angry!

Wanted to get home quickly but damn... There was not a single cab available. Thanks to some late recording program that resulted in a long queue at the taxi stand. Really. I almost fainted when i stepped out of office. I tot i would be able to get home quickly. My stomach is already protesting! Hungry....

When i was halfway out, i realise i din have enough money for cab. So have to rush to the nearest ATM machine to withdraw some. Finally i got the money but no cab. The taxi stand was long at 1130pm. Can you imagine? Its not town lor. It's in the middle of some private housing estate. Wah... Then rain somemore. BEST!

I had no choice. I walked all the way out to the main road. There was a small group of pple fighting for taxi. This time i really cannot stand anymore. Walked all the way down to the nearest bus stop with the bus that will ferry me home. I took a bus lor. Damn.... When i reached home, it was already 1230am. Good.

Sometimes i wonder, on a Friday night, when everyone is finally off from work, i am still stuck at a miserable place. The tot just pissed me off. Some already started their partying, some lying comfortably on their bed, some out in town watching movies, some having supper with friends. ME???? Carry a large umbrella, fighting for taxi. ha... cant imagine. Somemore underpaid!!!

Haiz... Just bear with me, i just need to scream and complain. Anyway, on a brighter note, it is Saturday again. Whahahaha.... It is time for fun and action again! I think its Kaz pre-bday celebration. Shall enjoy to the fullest after work... few more hours to go....

-----
I was watching "Bai Fen Bai Gan Jue" starring Ekin Cheng and Sammi Cheng while blogging away. The movie brought back many memories of the time i was in SP. I remembered watching this movie at Dior's place. ha... It was still laser disc at tat time. Ken was also there too. I think we were all mesmerised by Sammi.

I love the song lor. In Mandarin, it was Jiu Xiang Lian (Old Necklace) In Cantonese, it was Bu Tuo Bu Qian. She was so popular during those days. To be exact, it was 10 years ago. Wah... I like her "sey" can. She's Dior idol. He bought all her albums and her movies. Sammi's posters were all over his room. ha... During those days, we would sing Sammi's song at KTV. Actually, i still sing her songs today.

Dior, Ken and I were so close in the past, though i was closer to Ken. We went out very often, hang out long hours at Marina Square. There was once Dior bought Sub Zero and E33. We were drinking outside the open space at Millenium Walk. We talked abt our future, our classmates and life. Ooh... memories. Whenever i hear this song, it will bring me memories of the three of us. Those days when we spent hours and hours hanging out. haiz...

Somehow, we lost contact after Dior quit school. Although he is now in my friendster and msn, we seldom chat. I guess we have moved on with our life. The only poly classmate that i am still in touch is Ken. We have gone thru many tough moments together and he will always be my best friend. In life, a few best friends will do. really....

Stress Out

Freaking stress at work today. This comes after a 2-day off and mc from work. It was never easy after taking a short break. I was rushing ard like a mad man. A colleague was surprised i was still doing some final job on the eleventh hour. The day started with on the course training. Next, the usual deadline that i have to rush. Rush rush rush...

Boss asked me a funny question when i handed her the MC. She was curious why i fall sick so easily. Well, i told her it was the food that turn my throat sore. Its a fact. Upon some thoughts, i realised something. I remembered reading thru some horoscope abt my health this year. It was pretty negative. I would fall sick easily. Quite true leh.

One of the worst moment is the time when i got back from Bali. Felt damn uneasy for a few days. I always feel bloated despite having less food. Doc said it was "stomach gas". I suspect it is due to the large intake of lemak at Bali. In the end, I went to the doc twice. Really bad. Eventually on the second visit, i finally recovered. Wah... That time really scare the hell out of me.

Back to work, had a tough time with one of my fellow colleagues. This person was taking his own sweet time while i panick like hell. Wah... really poor time management lor. Fortunately, i have been trained to remain calm. I stood patiently while waiting for him to finish his stuff. Cos i know if he screws up, he cannot escape from any liability. Once he is ready, i took his stuff and complete everything in split seconds.

Really lar... dun give me such heart attack after a 2 day break from work. I cant take it.... Damn scary one lor....

PF @ Vivocity

Tried out the new PF at vivocity. Excellent. Despite fewer machines, smaller space, the scenery is fantastic. I was running on the treadmill this morning and know wat? The spot where the treadmill is overlooked Sentosa. Best. I like the environment, the designer made good use of natural lightings to make the gym more spacious.

The changing room is even cool. They have got nice cupboards and shower rooms. It reminded me of a hollywood changing room. ha... Good use of colour that brighten up the day of many gym goers. Unfortunately, there are only 6 shower rooms. If there is a huge crowd turnout, i guess pple have to queue. Till now, the crowd is still manageable. Not many came, well it is only 1-2 month old.

Maybe i should try to go vivo branch more often. It is only 30 mins train ride from home. hee... We shall see how things go....

Mistaken Identity

This is one of my slackest day at work. It is like a bonus to me. Never in my life over here have i felt so relax ever. ha... Human beings are lazy creatures, when they have nothing better to do, they feel tired. Yes, i am one of them. I decide to take a walk down to canteen for a short break. It is just a way to get out of the work place. ha...

While ordering coffee, the auntie strike a conversation with me. She find my surname wierd and asked if i was a foreigner. Ha... I told her i have been mistaken as a Taiwanese. She believes and insists i come from Taiwan. Gosh... Do i really look like one??? hur hur... ha.... Taiwanese have nice and fair complexion. I have dark and "pimpy" look. hahaha... I dun really think so.

Anyway, i have been mistaken for different identities for many times. When i was in Thailand, they tot i am a native thai. Although i dun speak fluent thai, i can understand some basic sentences. I remembered i was once made fun by a thai waitress. Damn.. She insisted i am like thai chinese. Cant believe it.

When i was in Paris more than 4 years ago, i was mistaken as a japanese. Ok, that time, i kept long and nicely permed hair. That probably resembled a bit of japanese. Whenever i go, pple spoke to me in Japanese. Some even call me Nakata, which i almost fainted. Well, Nakata is a famous jap soccer player. ha...

Back in NTU days, I was once "saboed" to join a competition. Damn, cos of my jap hair, i created a lot of attention. Call me an attention seeker. Bleah... I still remembered vividly it was those artise lookalike competition. Do you know who i resemble? Kimura Takuya! whahaha... Alrite, friends who know me can start vomiting. I will give u my support. I was damn embarrass tat time when they placed my photo next to him.

Cannot make it lar. Takuya is so handsome and suave. I am not even his leg hair ah...ha... I wanted to dig a hole when i saw my photo up on the notice board near the S4 tutorial rooms. For your infor, it S4 entrance! Most business and accountancy students will pass by that damn place when they go for classes. Should i feel honoured or disgraced?

Well, i have changed now. Short hair with professional look. hahahaha.... But then again, that doesnt mean i am a Taiwanese. I am just someone who share the same nationality with Stephanie Sun. yes...

In the mood for Sleep

The celebration on Saturday started with Vodka fruit punch. The grand finale - Blue Mountain. Whoo hoo... Had a good time celebrating this special occasion with close friends. Went early before 8pm to secure a free entry. This saves me $14. Ha... The regulars were there too. So it was a night of laughter and fun.

After getting the free "chop". Ken and I accompanied Larry and David to a nearby fast food outlet for their dinner. We stroll ard Clarke Quay area and met a friend. Oh yes, that reminded me something. Met a few friends in the afternoon too. First it was Bobby, a friend from NTUBS. Then met my sec school classmate Meiyi. I am surprised to see her and her bf after so many years.

Back to the clubbing session, we headed back to Dbl O by 10 plus. It was not crowded at all. We chilled out at one spot, with me and ken laughing away due to some cannot-reveal thingy. Then came Kaz and the guy who share the same name with me. ha... He has been influenced by us to come every week. Whahaha... Not to worry, our influence is positive.

Met a few new friends too. Thanks to Larry. The siblings joined in when they arrived after 11 plus. We partied the night as though we owned the entire place. Ha... Though i was high, i managed to remain very compose. I made fun to a few pple. whahaha... Kaz is always my victim. whahahaha.... The night ended with more gossip plus a nice supper. Wat a Night!

---
When everyone is busy enjoying their sunday off, here i am back in office, struggling away. Damnz. I had no mood to work. Felt like sleeping and doing nothing. I missed my bed suddenly. However, I endured and manage to work my way thru. So foolish and boring. ha...

My bed is calling for me. I need to sleep liao. It will be another long and cannot-make-it day tomolo. Argh... Can someone do something???

I Survived

Huat Ah! My second anniversary on 5 Jan went on smoothly! I sincerely hope it will remain this way and even better in 2007. There were lots of deep tots running in my mind after i came home from work. Anyway, i dun have much time to think during work. It is still the usual hectic and non stop action. But now it will be....

I SURVIVED! 2 Years! YEAH!

Initially, i wanted to gather a few pple out for drinks. However, it din materialise cos i prefer to retain some energy for tomolo regular session. Besides, i want to try out the new PF at Vivocity in the morning. hahaha... Ken asked if i wanted to join him for clubbing after work. Ha... I rejected him.

730-Days Calls for a Celebration

Exactly 2 years ago, i ORDed on 4 Jan. The next day, i started on my new work. I spent 730 days in this job. I tot i would have left this place long before that. Ha.. Here i am, still surviving and struggling. There were many occasions that i really feel like giving out. My friends can vouch for that. I endure from time to time. I have changed, more tolerable than before. ha....

I have mentioned it many times. This is an achievement. Never in my life had i encountered so many difficult moments. I met the lowest point in my life during the last 2 years. Fortunately, i survived. Looking back, i sometimes wonder how i went thru all the tough obstacles. The initial months were really bad. Whenever i get home, i feel demoralise, worried, apprehensive, scare, mixture of all kinds of feeling.

I kept asking myself, is this what i really wanted. Why have i left SR? Am i facing retribution from my past evil deeds? These questions flashed across my mind very often. I read my previous entries. I felt sorry for myself then. It was sombre. However, as time went by, i feel more justified. At least pple appreciate my effort. I may not be the best but i know i am being appreciated. That calls for a celebration.

To celebrate this occasion and 2 years after ORD, i renewed my contract with PF. whahaha... It really cost me a bomb. But taking into consideration over a period of 2 years, the deal wasnt that bad. I got a good offer. At least twice cheaper than FF, I bet Kevin is jealous now. whahahaha... But then, it doesnt make a different. He is wealthier.... hahahhaa

Was out with dearie at Esplanade just now. The rain finally stopped!!! We chill out along esplanade. There werent a lot of pple, probably school started. It was nice, peaceful and quiet. Suddenly felt so fortunate sitting next to her. There are many ups and downs in a relationship but getting to know lots of unheard stories can be frightening. ha...

Alrite, it is time for Amazing Race Asia and Ah Wang. Tomolo is my official 2 years anniversary. ha... I hope for a good start! Huat Ah.....

Caught on Podcast

OMG! OMG! OMG! Vicky, you are not the first one to inform me. whahahaha... I have already received calls from friends. I cant BELIEVE it. I din know pple really go online to check it out. I had a good laugh when i was in office. Almost fell off the chair. It is just too funny lor. Ken was featured, so was Gavin. Poor Qiang was caught innocently too! MY GOD!

Spread the news to other casts who were involved in the filming. Ken had a good laugh, so did Gavin. Thanks to the technology today. I was already bombarded when i went on TV. This time i got a shock when someone called me up abt the podcast thingy. On that very second, I was busy working on an assignment. Stressed! Fortunately, it brightened up my day after watching the clip. Damn Funny!

Anyway, I tot I was on a relaxed work schedule today. Till late evening, boss gave me a challenging assignment. Shall not venture into details. Anyway, i am pretty scare as it is not an easy task. Thank God. It turned out fine eventually. I got what i wanted and left quickly. Sometimes i wonder, why would such incident occur?

This is only the third day into the new year. School just started for many children. For me, no school means no exams! whahaha... Dun have to undergo the exam stress. I wonder how little jordan is doing in his kindergarten. I hope to see him this wkend for an update. hahahaha.... Schools start liao, i am going on OFF. Yeah! Shall take a good rest tonite!

NYE Countdown

Happy Belated New Year Day!!! Yes, it took me one day after 1 Jan to pen down some thoughts. I was freaking tired from last evening countdown. I wanted to do a little blogging but collapsed on my bed once i reached home. Totally fatigue. When i woke up before noon, quickly changed and dragged myself to work on the first day of 2007. It was "VERY FUN" lor.

Back to new year's eve, i was out with dearie in the afternoon. Very sweet. Cos we went shopping at Ikea. Never been there yet until the last day of 2006. Though crowded, we managed to whiz passed pple and indulge in the world of our own. ha... It was relaxing and touching to spent the last day of the year with loved ones.

After which, we parted and i met Ken for NYE Countdown at Expo. This time, not only Ken came, Gavin and Qiang turned up too. Thanks to Ken, i managed to get a complimentary ticket for the event. Whoo hoo.... Despite having little publicity, the turnout was pretty impressive. It was in hall 6 this year as compared to 2005's hall 2.

This is the second time i am celebrating countdown at Expo. As usual, there was a sudden gan chu. ha.. Its me lar... Really. At hall 4, there was some chanting going on. Went over and took a look, it was Amitabah Society. Made a little prayer and feel serene with the ongoing chanting. I think it is good to have many pple to pray at the same time for a smooth year ahead.

The party eventually started at 11pm. The mambo family swayed into action with their synchronised dance step. Well, the rest of us partied as usual. I told ken i will only go to the podium at the stroke of midnight to welcome the new year. Yes, the padang me. Shouted! Prayed! Huat Ah!

ha... Then the mambo music continued. By 1am, i was dancing next to the mambo family on the same podium. Ken joined me too. If David was there, i guess it would be even better. To dance with the mambo family and to face a crowd of hundreds is no feat. It was challenging but really FUN! While dancing halfway, Eric appeared right in front of me suddenly. Then, it was Hall 9 friends!!!!

I joined them for the rest of the nite. They treated me to lots of drinks. Thankfully, my drinking skills arent too bad. If not, i would have collapsed. ha.... inherited genes. Huiyan, Yongzhi, Xueni and Zhiyong. Yep, all my hall mates. Miss the time we spent together during hall events. 2 years after graduation, we managed to keep in contact thru clubbing. ha... cant imagine.

Finally, the party ended and it was time to go home. A brand new year has arrived, with new hopes and wishes. I will definitely look forward to a better future. Hey its 2007! Cheers everyone!
