On MC, High Fever

I wanted to blog yesterday but i was too sick. hahah... On the nite i returned from BKK, i was already not feeling very well. During the nite, i was shivering and waking up every other few hours. Felt really terrible. By morning, the first thing i did was to visit a GP. Doc took my temperature and it read 39.8 degree celcius. It was pretty high. Doc suspect it was viral infection, he decided to prescribe me some anti biotics. By this morning, my fever has subsided. However, my body is still feeling weak.

Turned on the tv and saw an old mediacorp production "Coffee or Tea". hahha.. I love the theme song by Jackie Cheong and Faye Wong. The show starred many stars that we have not seen for a very long time. They are 林益盛，朱乐玲，陈文聪，唐虎，郑斯佩，陈美光，洪培兴，翁瑞云，吴开深，黄少婷，王爱玲。 Those in the show but are still in the show biz today are 郭淑贤，刘谦义，曹国辉。Quite a nice production esp with the all the former mediacorp artises.

I love old production as they brought us memories of Singapore's olden days. I think the show was shot in 1994. hahaha... Interesting la. Make me laugh and enjoy. I miss 朱乐玲 a lot. During those days, she was one of the prettiest actress in mediacorp. I also miss those old aunties like 郑斯佩，陈美光，黄少婷。 They are cuter than the ones we see now. hhahhaa...

Back to the Kingdom adventure, besides clubbing, i brought the guys to some places to shop and eat. We had very nice food. Our hotel is just fabulous. On Sunday, there was a mini weekend market on the ground floor. I shopped with Mel and we manage to grab a couple of imitation. Oh yes, the guys went for some traditional thai massage too. As usual, i excluded myself cos i am afraid of itch! hahah...

After this holiday, where is the next destination. I have been thinking a lot. I feel like going to New York, Boston and then Toronto. hhaha...Well, US dollar is depreciating to US$1 to S$1.35. If it depreciates further, i think i will. :P Besides US, i am thinking of South Africa and Egypt too. hahhaha... My mum has been asking me if we should go before my sis delivers her second child. Gavin asked if i was keen to go Taiwan, HK and Macau too. I am not sure if he really meant it or the usual "tok" only. Let's see how things go.

I will be back in office tomolo. Ha... Finally after a 1 wk break! Its labour day and i got to work. Aiyooooo.... As usual lor. Pple are enjoying their PH while i slog myself in the office. Quite irritating at times. Bo bian! hahahha... The recharge was good except for the MC. Shall continue to work hard till the next holiday!!

Kingdom Adventure

Back from kingdom! hahhaa... This time, i was feeling feverish when i reached home. Haiz. I guess it must be my sore throat. I woke up this morning experiencing pain in the throat. I drank lots of water and fruit juices. It improved a little. By the time i reached home, it is still dry but not much pain. Then i felt feverish and tired. Pop 2 panadols and feel slightly better. However, i still feel a bit sick.

This trip was pretty relaxing. We ate, shop and club. Met up Ed on Friday. Damn. Bkk was drizzling and raining lor. The weather started to clear up on Saturday. Last nite, there was a heavy rain. I think the rain disrupted the satellite signal. We wont able to watch cable channels. hahha... Mel, me and Jian played cards. We were literally mixing beers. hahha.. Navy style? They had at least 10 bottles there. wah lau...

Oh yes, the room at Baiyoke Sky was good. I booked for a deluxe room and they upgraded me to junior suite for free! yeah! The scenery from 61th storey was magnificent. Really! We could see the beautiful city of bkk in day and nite. Really nice lor. Can fight with the one i saw at Furama Hotel last new year! hahhaha... Even if u spent the nite at the hotel is damn shiok!

The only downside is the proximity to the train station. Well, i have expected it. We walked quite a bit to the BTS station. We had lots of great food. I brought them to try out authentic thai food. wah.... Nice. On the last day, we even had shark fins. whahhaha... We also went clubbing. I brought them to Q bar on the first nite. ha... We drank red label. Terrible! I felt giddy. This is the first time i felt so terrible.

I fall asleep in the club. Mel and Jian played some games. Then we headed back hotel, i slept in the cab. By the time i reached my room, i collasped on bed immediately without changing. I woke up at 430am! Bad headache! Took a shower, tried to sleep but couldnt. I went to the convenience store to get panadol. Phew... I recovered. Had breakfast at 77th storey. hahhaa.. Nice view of the city again!

Sat nite was spent clubbing at RCA. yeah. My all time favourite. Ed treated us to black label while i pay for the mixers. We dance rnb and indulge ourselves at the most happening club in bkk. Still the same as the last time. I call it Bkk's zouk. hahhaha... Nice la, to dance with the locals. At least u dun get to mix with the "farang" ie caucasians.

Need to sleep now. Still feeling not very well. Shall update again tom. Nitey!

Kup Kup Kup!

Time to head for the Kingdom again! It has been some 6 months since i last travel to BKK. Ha. This time it will be with another group of friend. Cant believe it. I have been going with different group since i embarked on the land of smile trip in 2003. Seriously, some pple tot i may have a second wife there. hahahha.... like real!

I will be with Mel didi and his friend. Fortunately, they are pretty decent and did not pester me to bring them to sleazy places. Ha.. However, they love drinking and clubbing. I guess we will be drinking for most of the nite. To them, the place is foreign. Didi's friend has never travel on a plane before. As for him, this will be his maiden trip there. For me, hahahha... Nth time!

It should be more or less the same like last time. Eat eat n eat. I miss the spicy and sweet stuff. Hmmm... Shall relax totally while i roam the streets of Bkk. Although is the same route, but going with different pple make the experience different! Let's just pray hard this time will be fun like the last time. Oh! Dun give me huge surprises! I may not be able to take it!

So happi tat i will be away from office for a week. :P Its necessary so that i can push myself further once i am back from BKK. Anyway, will be sleeping soon! Time to see the Thai stewardess tomolo! whahhaha... Nite and Peace!

21st Birthday

I realise the frequency of updating this blog is getting longer. hahha.. I guess i have been too lazy lately to blog abt wat happened. :P Nonetheless, things are still happening and i am still enjoying my life. This week will be a "happening" week. I am only required to work one day. Whoo hoo.. So happi. Too many things to handle over the last few weeks. It is time for a break.

I will be back in Tom Yum Land again! hahaha.... This time i will be taking Thai Airways which i have not taken for decade. I remembered i took Thai Airways on my first trip to Bkk in the 90s. Long hor. Managed to get promotional tickets and it only cost S$282 for the air tix. Yeah. Will be staying in Baiyoke Sky this time too. Ha.. Finally a short getaway from my all time favourite Asia Hotel. :P I am preparing myself for good food and drinks!

Last Sat was Leon didi's 21st Bday. Wah! 21st leh.. Damn Mine was like so long ago. :( hahha... I was out with dearie before heading for his celebration. Surprisingly, we met at Singapore Flyer. Fated i guess. Dearie and i wanted to take a look at our latest landmark so we walked over from Marina. Looks quite impressive if compared to London's Eye. The only downside is the scenery. Marina area is currently on construction, i think the scenery will improve when the projects are done. So the question is, should the Singapore Flyer be constructed on such an early date?

Anyway, Didi spotted me while i was chatting with dearie. He gave me a surprise hug and i was like hahhaa... So cute! Honestly, i din notice till he came up. Dearie tot he was cute. hahhaa.. He must be happi lor! hahhaa... Eventually, we headed dbl o together. The girls had prepared a special program for him.

He was supposed to collect 21 kisses, numbers and names on a white tshirt that they bought for him. He had to put it on and to go around the club to ask for kisses. For every kisses he get, the girls will deduct a shot from him. Well, he was supposed to drink 21 shots of tequila. hahhaha... Reminded me of orientation. OMG! hahha.. Didi was spotting, with the help he got from Kaz, he managed to secure 21 kisses in short time. hahahah... Cheers! I bet it will be a memorable 21st birthday for him.

Hmm.. What abt mine? I remembered i celebrated at home with many friends and relatives. In fact, my mum specially prepared 2 tables of steam boat. haha. One for relatives, the other for my friends. We took lots of funny pictures which i still have them today. Damn retro can! I like the togetherness in the small 3 room flat. Imagine 30 pple crowded in the flat. hahaha.. Some have to sit at the corridor. That was damn long ago lor. Anyway, some birthdays are worth remembering. There are also times when these impt days pissed me off. hahahha... Well well.. I guess its just life....

Winebar cum Zouk outing

Time to blog again! I have quite a number of things to blog about. Firstly, i met some participants from 唯我独尊. OMG! I am not very impressed with them. Some of them do have the pretty boys and girls look. I was at the reception when fans of 唯我独尊 flooded the area. They were trying to get hold of the contestants to take pictures and talk to them.

The Greek guy was standing near to the ATM machine. I was like trying to get some cash when he block my way. ha.. I signal to him and he gave way. I overheard some fans or perhaps parents of other contestants asking him abt his personal life. omg. hahha. Interesting. Then some girls were hugging tightly to the female contestants. They are not stars but fans are treating them like one. I am like WTH! Reminded me of project superstar and star search. SAME phenomenon.

Seriously, some of them are good looking but when they open their mouth, I feel disgusted. hahaha.. I mean some look macho but they are soft spoken, worst still, their action are so feminie. As for females, they are chio but when they speak, i feel chao ah lian! The entire program is not my taste la. hahahha...

It was Wednesday last night. David asked if we would like to go zouk. Leon didi is going, so i decide to join them. I was there early for free chop. hahah.. When didi came, i met Eric! hahaha.. Whoo hoo, the guy who intro me to mambo! Oh man! I missed them so much! Eric asked if i wanna join them. I went over to wine bar instead! hahahha...

Joe was there. It has been like some 3 good years since i met her. Still the same except she has lost some weight. 3 of us were bitching abt school, hall, work and relationship. They are one of the best kakis in hall 9. I guess didi had a good laugh at our stories. hahaha... Jacq came late. OMG! FINALLY! Met her again after we met some time in dbl o a year ago. Wah! Still the same. Her ex came and i was like....

I mean i cant believe she went into a relationship with tat guy. hahhaha.. Not like her taste. She said i was damn bitchy lor. hahaha.. However, its true la. She is the kind that prefer cute guys who are lean and tone. hahaha... I was making fun of her the whole nite. ahhaha.. I guess she is enjoying her work as she flys ard like nobody business. hahaha... We drank and danced. It somehow brought me memories of days in hall when we clubbed on wed and return to hall drunk.

I joined the gang pretty late. A quarter of dbl o gang were there. We party and dance, then joke again! Geswin was there too. Surprise! Went up the centre podium after 3am. David was happi lor. hahhaa... This is the first time i went up the centre podium. I have never step foot on that highest podium. hahaha.. Fun!

David jio us to Jalan Kayu for supper! Yeah! It was nice of him to bring us there. Well, its near my place so ok lor. hahah.. We chilled a bit then munch our food away. hee... By the time i was home, it's almost 5am. Had a quick shower and time for bed! Weekend is coming again n i am so looking forward to it!

Saturday Party

Gosh! It has been almost a week since i last blogged! Ha.. I think i am getting lazy or run out of time to update this blog. It has been quite a fruitful week. Had lots of crazy assignment that made me run over many places. I was totally shagged by the end of the week. On Friday, Mel asked me to join him at a new chill out place. Nice. We had Chivas. hahahha

On Sat, it was David's bday. Prior to tat, the dbl o gang suggested an outing to Sentosa. OMG! It has been some 5 months since i was there. The last time i went was during Zoukout. However, it was nite and i couldnt see how the place has transformed. On Sat afternoon, i took time off to see for myself the changes.

All these while, i dun really find Sentosa fantastic. The entire island is simply man made with all the artificial exhibits. The beach isnt facinating enough to draw my attention. Probably i am spoilt by the magnificent beach offered by our neighbouring countries. I was a bit late and it was raining. So I shopped ard vivo with leon didi. When we arrived, the rest were embarking on a game. That did not capture my attention.

I am more interested in Cafe Del Mar. I have heard so much from my friends and colleagues since it opened its door last year. While the rest were playing, i went over and had afternoon tea. Sibei Song! I ordered some sandwiches with apple juice, sat by the poolside and relax. That is wat i call life! I hate the hectic life i lead sometime. It is like forever no time for me. hahahha...

Joined the rest eventually. Swam and relax in the sea. Finally, it was time to go. We rushed for dinner before heading to David's big day! ha! This is the second time we are celebrating his bday at Dbl O. So fun and cute!! I really enjoyed the nite partying with them. David came up with little games for us. Very meaningful! One day if i decide to retire from Dbl O, he will be the one that i will miss him de.

The bday celebration was a success! It will be leon didi's bday this sat. So looking forward to it. I wonder how it will be like for him to celebrate with a bunch of crazy guys and gals! hahahhaha....

No More Golden Couple

WTH! My entire blog entry just vanished and i have to retype everything again! Damn it! This is really ridiculous lor. Sianz. I was happily blogging. When i am done and click publish post, it said error, then the next thing, my entire entry gone! WTH! Nonetheless, i have to retype the entire entry again!

I was trying to blog abt Ronaldo and Lee Jiawei incident. Sad leh. I mean its their private affairs but made known to public. Personally, i feel even if they want to end a relationship, it should not be in this manner. I mean for Ronaldo to seek compensation from Lee over their so called home. Somemore, they reveal everything to the papers which is like.. omg!

Now Lee is also making use of the media to fight for her right over the compensation. Aiyooooo. It was supposed to be something personal leh, eventually it became so public. It doesnt look good on both of them lor. I mean afterall, they are sports celebrity. Haiz... It has made it to the headline for all the local papers. I cant believe it.

I better keep this entry short. Cos i am too lazy to retype everything.. hahaha.. Long week ahead. I think the next off day will be many days later. Nevermind. Let's work hard ba pple! Cheers!!

Sunburnt

Fruitful Wednesday! Finally had some time to do a little tanning and having fun at the wave pool. Weather was kind to me this afternoon. Met up leon didi to do some tanning at JE. wah lau. Shiok. However, i am now burnt like a lobster. My shoulders are in fact quite pain. Well, we went tanning, then play at the wave pool.

This stupid auntie nearly kicked onto me. I tried to push her away by telling her "dun kick me". Then she was laughing continously. WTH! Swam a few laps then kiv to the wading pool. Wah. So nice. Children these days are so pampered. Nice facilities lor. Took a ride down the slide too. hahaha.. Ok la.. Not tat scary but enjoyable! Kinda miss those days when i finish class early and head to JE. Short break away from school. hahhaa.

Shopped ard JP a while. Memories again! The days when i used to hang out with Ed and gang. I still remember on friday after class, we would head to JP for dinner cos we feel so bored in hall. hahhaa... We will purchase many things from NTUC to stock up our hall. wah.. miss those hall days. Seriously, i wonder wat are some of my hall mates doing now.. hahahha...

At nite, met KT. I know you are reading it. This slutty friend of mine wanted me to erase photos from my HP. hahhaha. You wait ah.. how can i erase tat photo? hahaha.. Nonetheless, we had dinner at Serangoon Garden. I was late cos of heavy jam and etc. Wah. Miss that place also. I reckon i hv been there a few times during poly. hahhaha.. Chomp Chomp ma. Nice food leh.

As usual, after dinner is the time we gossip. Wah lau. So many things to bitch abt. Time passes quickly when you have fun. Well well.. Shall catch up with him if we meet this sat! :P

Already April

A quarter of the year has gone! OMG! That's fast. Sometimes, one really wonder time flies and we are one step closer to the new coming year. hahaha.. Have been given 2 off days since tuesday. It is time to relax a bit and reflect upon myself on the first quarter of the year. Seriously, many things did happen. I am closer to some new friends yet drifting away from some older ones.

I din know why it turned out this way. However, I tot i could just forget and move on. Its not easy. I am still trying hard. Hopefully as time passes, things will go back to what it was like in the past. I do feel occasional upset when i think abt it. Well, this is life and i got to live with it. Things will not turn out the way u want it to be. I missed the good old days....

Ken's bro invited me to his house last wkend. OMG! Little edison is so cute and adorable! When i carried him, he din cry, neither did he struggle. Wah. This kind of kids i really like. I hate kids who cry once a stranger carry him/her. He stare at me a while and relax on my chest. cute hor. Ken's mum brought me round the house. Quite big for a condominium. I like the place too. Windy and quiet. Ken's bro is still the same except he has become a homely man. hahhaha... Take good care of wife and kid, as well as cooking!

Then it was time for dbl o. Wah lau. Ken was freaking drunk and uttering rubbish again. ahhaha. Before tat, we had bak gu teh at clarke quay. Not as fantastic as i tot. We ordered quite a lot, pig trotters and salty vege. The nite was spent gossiping and dancing away. Met some new friends again, thanks to yang. They are pretty young. Drank sex on the beach and blue mountain with Mel. Quite high, but Mel left early for home. A bit buay swee but no choice i guess.

Met dearie this evening. I guess she must have a hectic time since last wk. Poor girl. Help her to destress as we chill ourselves at the usual place. Quite windy tonite. It was quite relaxing. KT msg me to meet for dinner. whahhaha. Good! We finally have a chance to meet. It seems difficult for me to meet him as he is like forever busier than me. hahahahah... One more day to go before a hectic work week!
