I have met many strange pple in my life. However, for some reason, i met 2 extremely irritating and disgusting person. One was in zouk while the other in my course of work. David asked if i would like to join him at zouk yesterday. I wasnt really keen but Ken told me it might be one of his last few chances to go to zouk before he start work. I gave in and tagged along.
It was pretty fun initially, zouk play nice music. I danced next to david. Although i felt uncomfortable cos i was in executive wear, i still enjoy the fun. It was till late night when i almost got beaten up. I was trying to pull away an unknown gay from my homophobic friend or i should call it enemy, when i got curse and swear. TMD! This homophobic enemy of mine accuse me of being in the gay gang. I dun even know the gay, just tat he was drunk n i try to move him away. Wah.... Homophobic friend overreacted. Swear at me! For tat, i remember!
Simply low class n uncivilise. Maybe homophobic enemy is slightly high, but there is no such need to overreact. The gay is also in the wrong la. I warned him to go away, but he insisted staying there cos he is drunk lor. MY GOD! Then i end up being accuse of being in their party and almost got beaten up for nothing. INSANE! OUTRAGEOUS. I told dearie, hanging around with low class n uneducated pple makes me dirty. Damn!
This afternoon, i met another idiot. I was trying to get my stuff done but met some pple with attitude. Dearie say it was low EQ. I agree. This person, despite educated, yet treated me like i killed her family. WTF! I still think there are no dispute with regards to the issues raise. RIDICULOUS la. If you hear how this person speak to me over phone, i guess 90% of you will feel i am bullied. hahha.. However, 我不是省油的灯,i defended my stand. They got no choice but to give in.
TMD! Met 2 IDIOTS within 24 hours. Thankfully, i am off tomolo. Shall take a good break and do some shopping. hahhaa... I bought Zara today! YEAH! Sales leh....

Major Breach Again
Gosh! I cant believe it! Home Affairs is in the limelight again! How could such negative incidents occur within the jurisdiction of MHA? I am shocked to learn about the latest development. Can someone be kind enough to enlighten me what happen? hahhaa... Our country have always been known as safe and reliable city. Recently, things took a slight change.
The latest incident is abt a Singaporean man, who took a wrong passport and flew to Vietnam! Gasp! As a regular traveler, i understand we were screened at least 3 times before boarding. First, check in counter, second, cisco officer check prior to immigration, lastly, immigration officer check. OMG! 3 guys and none of them discover the error. It really put us to shame when Vietnamese authority found the discrepancy! HELLO! Arent Singapore suppose to be a first world country? I cant believe it lor!
There is something very wrong with the authorities lately. Let me recap a few incidents.
1) Huang Na's murderer Took Leng How, while detained by CID managed to walk across the causeway
2) Mas Selamat Escape from Whitney Detention Centre
3) 2 Offenders Escape from Sub Court
4) Gurkhas Fighting near Mount Vernon
5) Wrong Passport but allow for Boarding
Oh man. Can someone explain what happen. There is undoubtly a major breach of SOPs, procedures or watever. I tot we are very law abiding citizens? We do anything or everything according to procedures, rules and regulation. What happen this time? I am disappointed if such mistakes do repeat.
According to ICA, the staff involved have been suspended from duties, pending for further investigation. ICA chief has assured that a thorough investigation is to be carried out. Well, i wonder if the man who manage to go thru the custom is a wanted man or worst still a terrorist, who is going to be responsible? I guess our neighbours in the region is going to laugh at this so called "developed" or "first class" nation. Boooo........ I pity Singaporeans!

Mixed Feelings
Some ups and downs in life. Got my bonus after waiting for a good half year. Time to go shopping and a short trip to HK to pamper myself. I am just tired of working especially on weekends. My morale have been low since i am going to work on both weekends for 3 times in a month. I got my only Saturday off yesterday. WTH!
I passed by Paragon last night. Gosh. They had converted their foyer into a small chill out area. The area has been cordoned off and only Citibank credit card holders are allowed in. Whoo.. Exclusivity! There's a band performing. The band sang "I cant take my eyes off you!" Wah.. Retro on saturday night along Orchard Road. I love it lor!
They even offer complimentary drinks for us. Ha... Some soda with peach or raspberry. hahha.. Nice one. Well, i was thirsty, so gulped down quickly while listening to oldies. Citibank really impressed me! They want to differentiate their customers from other banks. To leverage on exclusivity, they came up with this special treatment. hahhaha.. Lovely.
Met a colleague during supper after the usual Dbl O session. Surprisingly, she was at Vino Vino. hahha.. I was quite high last nite after rong's friend fed me with jugs of vodka. hahha.. Quite nice of them la. Gossip with ken too. Oh yes, we met Erica Lee and Ix Shen. OMG! Ix is really hunky lor. NB, the chest is bigger than any guys including me. As for Erica, hahha... she is also "big". Impressive Indeed! whahha... Lovey Dovey couple la!

Keppel Island
I found a new place for dating! Keppel Island! Woo.. It was a nice place intro by qiang. We had a mini reunion last night. The gang of 4 was out on an execursion to an island owned by Keppel Group. This gang of 4 is a crazy gang of 4. Whenever we meet, it will be talking rubbish and nonsense. Outsiders may find it hard to dechipher the meaning cos our topics are senseless. That also means stress free!
The gang of 4 first met at NYJC in 1996. Well, i put it this way. 3 of them were from the same sec school, only 1 came from a GOOD school, St Nicholas. hahaha.. When they finally met, they became the best pal during that unforgettable 2-3 mths period. How could we ever forget the times we rot together, eat together, jeering at others?
Someone even sang the school song ytd! OMG! Our relationship strengthened when we decided to skip a class one day to Orchard Road. hahaha.. That was very courageous of us. Till today, more than 10 years later, we are still bitching abt this topic. I wonder, if that teacher is still teaching in the school? hur hur? The teacher who looks at the floor whenever she tok to us. No single eye contact. Funny!
Back to Keppel Island, it is linked to the mainland via bridge. It resemble the one in Taipei Dan Shui. Really. I was busy snapping shots. It was a yacht club. There were plenty of yachts at the bay. Opposite the island is The Carribean and a future condo development. I can see Labrador park too. As you walk inland, you will be able to see our beautiful southern islands. Ha.. Most were oil refineries.
I love the place cos its peaceful. Away from stress, away from crowd. I dun think many pple know about the place. I was suggesting to dearie we should drop by one day. Travel there to relax and have a good time. Suitable for couples. Well, if you are rich, good for you. Get ready a yacht, then probably bring me along! hahahah...

Insane Sunday
Totally mad! I nearly gone bonkers after my shift. hahhaa.. Throughout my shift, i was so quiet that pple tot i was "bullied". whahhaa... Well I din make a single noise cos i had too much things to do and too many details to look into. Not easy la, to satisfy the needs of someone. I had only like few minutes for dinner, then it was time to "cheong"! hahaha..
It was the usual bitching session on Saturday. Honestly, it was much better than last sat session. However, it was A LOT better than friday session. It was a waste of my time lor. I met up some friends for drinking session on friday, eventually it turned out to be a disaster. I wished in din attend. I would have spent more time wif dearie instead. I felt grumpy when i reached home.
These friends of mine are not happening at all lor. Damn boring! Some even worst! Act innocent when they are damn bitchy. Wau lau, i cant stand it lor. If you are idiot, tell me yes you are. If you are a gay, tell me yes u r. If u r horny, tell me you are. Dun be a pretendious. Secondly, i dislike herding effect. If you are out with a new friend, intro the friend to the group, if not, dun ask the person along. Waste of time. TMD!
I hate it when my time is precious. It was not constructive at all lor! I guess there wont be a second time with these pple. I would have gone home to relax and watch tv. Nonetheless, i get to know these group of pple better. No more next time... hahahhaa....

Serviceman Death
Wonderful nite ytd! Met Ivan! Hahahaha... Lost contact with him after i left NTU. So nice to see him and his friends. We had a good time catching up lor! He's a boss now. Wow! I am impressed! He is running his own bridal shop. We bitched a while then had some drinks. Its funni la pple! We had so much to ba gua about!! Well, his friends attempted to learn some mambo moves from me. well.. i dun think i am up to tat standard.
2 NS boys passed away recently during their training. I wonder wat is happening to our boys. Are they not up to the standard or the trainings are not safe enough? I worry for our kids and our boys. My condolences to the bereaved families. Honestly, i am quite disturbed when i hear abt death of NSFs or regulars. Mindef have decided to suspend all physical trainings for three days to conduct a review on their training practices.
Hmm... I wonder wat are they going to do. My bro will serving NS in September. I do hope the authorities will conduct thorough review. Then again, young boys now seem to have difficulties coping with training. Our lifestyle have changed and we are not like our fathers who are so much stronger during those days. So how are we going to protect this little country?
I do agree with some pple in the forum. They argued that it is time to focus on our kids' fitness. More should be done to cultivate healty living. Instead, our kids are always concern on grades, grades and still grades. I guess this is Singapore. Everyone is brought up the same way. If you dun have a good grade, i am sorry! Well well...

Time to Fly again!
It's confirmed! So happi! Will be going on a family trip again after 2003. Wah! 5 years since the last time when we went Korea! Hopefully it will be a relaxed trip as i dun wish to see myself rush ard like nobody business. I will take it as a retreat for mum's bday and probably a holiday for bro prior to NS. hahhaah...
Quite busy at work too. As i go on OMO mode, a lot of things have to be done by myself. hahha.. Well, cos of these, my time is even tighter. After a hectic day, i still love to chill and relax at night. My nightlife have blossomed recently. I guess some of my friends are out of jobs, they have got more time at nite, some decided to ask me out for drinks and clubbing. hahha.. Well, since i have nothing better to do at night, plus after a day work, i would usually meet them up.
Just last week alone, i had 3 sessions. One was with Ken and David, the other with Kenny and his cousin, then it was the usual session on Saturday. Quite tiring but i really enjoyed it. Time is obviously running out, hahha.. have to enjoy more before i moved to another phase of life. Scary. When i think of 30 and beyond, it will be work and more commitment! TYPICAL SINGAPOREAN life. hahha.. Well, no choice la, but i will still hv to go with the flow. Its not that i dun like, it is just sian la.
Nonetheless, its dearie bday! hahahah... WAH! Older by a year liao wor! She will be joining my league soon! hahahha... Life after 30.... :P I had a pre celebration with her last week. Pretty cool and fun. I hope she enjoys it. hahha... Pple are working while we are chilling out at some place lor. Interesting! If that moment is forever, i think both of us will be damn happy! hahha.. No work, no stress! hahhaa.. Anyway, Happy Bday!

出人头地
There have been a lot of uncertainties over polices from our neighbour in the north. First it was whether Singaporeans need to fill up the embarkment card, next it was whether our cars are banned from all petrol kiosks within a 50 km radius from JB. hahhaa.. I am so confused and so are many other Singaporeans. hahaha..
Some of my Malaysians friend said it's part of their political feature ie policy changes as and when they like. It is because of these reasons that made their political landscape exciting and fun. Oh no! hahha.. I am like wow.. That's an interesting denotation. My friend said if it wasnt all these, Malaysia would be pretty boring. Well...
Recently, i have been watching old Mediacorp productions other than TVB serials. Remember 出人头地。Oh my god. I was mentioning to ken and he was like, oh no, pple will know our age if they knew we know the show. hahhaa... I love the theme song. Nice. I think it was sung by 童安格。 The show star Edmund Chen, Zoe Tay, Aileen Tan, 梁维东,李南星,孙宝玲,严丙量,陈国华,陈美光,陈蒙,周全喜。 Very powerful show. It even replicate the collapsed of New World Hotel in 1986. Power!
At night, they re-run another old production, 暖流。hahaha.. Ooooh. This show i remembered. Cos one of its character, named 包丽萍 had the same name with my cousin. hahhaa... I was laughing and telling my mum abt it this morning. I think the show was aired in 1989 or 1990, around the same time as 出人头地。hahhah... This show features Edmund Chen (yes again), 陈秀环,朱厚仁,夏川,李茵朱,洪慧芳,戴鹏,严丙量(yes again),郑思佩 and some others whom i cant recall their names. hahahha.. Interesting leh....
I still think old productions are so much better than recent ones. Sad to say, production now lack of something that we used to have in the past. I dunno wat is it. Probably the story? hahha... The stories now are more materialistic and tend to feature the rich. 一房半厅一水缸 feature the lower income group which eventually turned out to be a successful production. More Singaporeans can relate better. Well, probably we are getting richer, taste has changed. hahha... Anyway, i shall end with lyrics of 出人头地。
I shall correct myself, the name is not 暖流,its 浮沉! hhahaha... thanks sien! hahahah... I couldnt read the name on TV. So i presume it was 暖流! Oh man! We love old shows!!!!

Universal Studio Gone!
I was in shocked when i heard news of Universal Studio engulf in a blaze! It took place yesterday and one of the studio was destroyed. Oh man! The entire theme park had to be shut down while the fire fighters put out the flame. Gosh. We lost a studio just like tat. Dearie and me were just there earlier this year, but now, it's gone.
Thankfully, only a portion of the studio has been burnt. From the video tat i watched, i feel sorry for Universal Studio. A total of five structures within the New York exhibit, including one sound stage, were lost in the fire that started in an area depicting New York City that was destroyed.
Also damaged was the King Kong attraction, a famous alley from The Sting and a set from the hit, Back to the Future. It took firefighters 10 hours to put out the fire, so can you imagine how big the fire is?
I still remembered i bought a couple of abercrombie tshirts from CityWalk Shopping centre. It was the same place where you find Hard Rock Cafe and other popular stores. Dearie and i even ate at one of the fast food outlet there. hahhah.... Weather was cool during that time. We had alfresco dining lor. hahhaha... I really miss US. How i wish i could be there to work or study. I guess i still need to do further planning for my dreams to come true.
For now, its only work and more stress. haiz... Nevermind, i shall endure for a while before embarking for another trip in the forseeable future!!
