Was thinking abt wat dearie said last night when she mentioned being sentimental. Are you someone who always think abt the past? For me, i try my best to remember good and wonderful moments. I would avoid bad memories. However, there are still some negative memories that i find it very hard to erase.
Is it wrong to be sentimental then? Of course not. It depends on the situation you are in. I do agree that if one keeps clinging on to his/her failed relationship, it is unhealthy. Frightening and anxiety filled memories should be forgotten too. Otherwise, one will never progress. The person will be trapped in a world of its own.
I was watching the repeat telecast of Living in Geylang just now. Ha... Yep. Brought me memories again. Lina Ng, breaking a bottle, with sharp edges pointing at a guy. Ha.. Who could forget that scene? It was one of those moments that i always gossip with my classmates during poly. I remembered Ken and I used to imitate Lina Ng. Ha... Its poly life again.
Lunar New Year song. I am a big fan of CNY songs. Dun ask me why. It always bring me good memories of Chinese New Year. I would turn on the radio extremely loud at home when it plays CNY songs. I like the auspicious lyrics. ha... Yes, its me again. When i was in SR, i did tat too, even as early as 7am in the morning. It shocked my colleagues. whahaha... I told them its necessary.
972 has been playing CNY songs since Monday. In the past it was 100.3 who start the ball rolling. Not sure if they are still doing it. Whahahaha... I am so uncle. So on the way to work, i will tune in to Yongmei's program. I get very high on bus when CNY songs are played. Anyway, I think i am crazy. I was wondering if Dbl O could play CNY songs on the eve, it would be perfect. whahahah...
