Whoo hoo! This is the third entry in related to my Downunder Adventure! I decide to drop by the wonderful beaches of Sydney. Yep, there are plenty of beaches there. Due to time constraint, i only went to one, Manly Beach. Beautiful beach, with fine sand, waves good enough to body surf and windsurf. However, i din try anything this time cos the weather is way too cold. whahha...
Well, if i stayed in Manly area, probably i will give it a shot. Since i am staying downtown, i have decided to give it a miss. I mean if i were to stay opposite the beach, there is no harm for me to enjoy the cool sea breeze or take a dive in the sea. I can rushed back to hotel to change. Although there are public toilets available, it is just too troublesome. I have to bring towel, sets of clothings. I heard Bondi beach is nice too. Din go. I even miss the nude beach at Watson Bay!!!
I walked around the beach and enjoy the breeze on the bench. ha... Then headed to the shops nearby for food and bought myself a Manly Tshirt! whahhaha.... Headed back to Sydney downtown and its time for Centrepoint or Sydney Tower. Fantastic view of the city. I manage to catch sunset at the tower. Damn romantic! I wish dearie was with me tat time! ha... Its so "mi ren". Watching sunset at a tower 305m above the ground. Lovely!
On the first day i arrived, i took pictures of the harbour bridge from ground level. This time, i decide to climb the bridge. Ha.. Well, i should rephrase, i choose to walk across the magnificent bridge. Climbing to the top of the bridge cost at least A$220. To me, walking across the bridge is
equally satisfying. Once again, it reminded me of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The two cities are so alike. View from the top of the bridge is excellent. I saw pple jogging at the bridge, one of them is a Singaporean. Wow! I would do that if i am a student there!
Darling Harbour is another area worth visiting. I told dearie the place is suitable for couples. Yep. Nice bay, calm water, birds flying with Sydney's city view at the back. You will melt. Trust me. I almost melted when i sat on one of the wooden planks by the sea. I cant find a place in Singapore that could match Sydney. Haiz... I really pity Tourism Board to attract tourists here. There is nothing in Singapore worth visiting. If i am a tourist, i will give it a miss or probably come once and thats it. Maybe Chinese tourists may love more! hahahha....
The entire trip is good! I feel very refresh and satisfied when i am back home. Till now, i still have fond memories of Sydney. I am starting to miss the place. hahhaha.... The next time if i ever visit Australia again, i hope to travel from Brisbane or the way to Melbourne in the South. It should be very FUN!
