It was a nite of fun and laughter. The slutty gang reunited after several weeks. However, ZY left early cos he was activated for some other programs. Oh man. It was still nice of him to drop by to celebrate larry's and jaden's birthday. We took some photos! Yeah, the usual cam whoring started once everyone arrives.
Since it was two person bday, most turned up for the event. All got freaking high due to the intake of alcohol. Haha.. I am not drunk thankfully esp after that miserable night when i sat alone outside the club. The birthday boy n girl were ok. I tot Larry would be gone. However, he was still very sober and opt for supper after clubbing. Poor Jaden almost went flat at the end of the night. Damn! She can really drink. hahhahaha.....
Larry's good friend Guoping was there. It was nice of him to remember me. He was the one whom we met when he came over to Mediacorp to watch Project Superstar. Well well.. That was like several months ago! Kaz brought his young TKD student. Wahhahaha.... I think he really fit the description, "I lost my Teddy Bear, Would you sleep with me tonight?"
Oh man. The girls were crazy over him. He is a young boy, but still older than my brother. The girls find him cute and want to bring him home. whahhaha... I burst into laughter when Cindy and Ice "disturbed" him. I hope he is not traumatise. Well, he is a good drinker. Went down couple of shots and he can still dance. I was worried he might just black out. After all, he is only a boy. Indeed, he was super high towards the end of the night.
Kaz and me took turn to take care of him. He was laughing nonstop! Gone! hahahhaha... I wonder if his mum would be unhappy to see him drunk. Ha... Wat if my bro get drunk and get home? hmmm... Nah, he wont. He is equally a good drinker. I have seen him drink. I guess our blood has that alcohol resistance inherited from my family. Alritey. Time to head to work. 2 more days before my next off day!

Chaotic
The situation in Myanmar is terrifying. I am sadden by the way the monks are being fired and attacked. After a visit to Myanmar last year, what happen now is so real to me. I mean the streets that the protest took place, the temple, the pple and etc. Things turned negative, peaceful demonstration led by monks became violence. Pple shed and the world followed closely.
I can sense the frustration in the country. Pple asked why would monks want to demonstrate? The reason is simple, they meet ordinary citizens daily for alms. I believe they would have heard abt the frustration in them, with prices of necessity going up exhorbitantly. After all, most of the goods are monopolised by the govt. Who can the pple turn to other than govt?
I was sharing with my mum about our trip last year. We remembered the local tv stations only air propegenda programs. Everything is under tight scrutiny. I guess this is one of the many ways the govt maintained its control on the pple. Myanmar would be a lovely country if it opens up and develop quickly. Given her strategic location and armed with lots of natural resources, she could easily beat other asian countries.
On a lighter note, my next trip is finalised. Yep, i will be visiting Ed next week in BKK. Yeah! More than 18 months since i last went to bkk. This time, i will be arriving at the new airport. Oh not forgetting Ed agreed to bring us to non-touristy areas. Whoo hoo.... It will be a brand new experience for me. I guess its a good time to clear leave since my boss has requested us to take leave asap. Yay! Tum Yam land again!

Hello Nokia!
Yesh, its goodbye to Samsung and back to old flame Nokia. Got myself a new nokia phone when i got back from Sydney. My dad has been asking me when i will replace my stolen phone. The reason being, i took over his current phone while he used another older phone. I have been scouting for a new phone since my poor samsung got stolen.
I do feel kinda heart pain when i hear the incoming msg tone from a samsung phone. When i think of the photos in the stolen phone, i get very angry lor. Some were stored in my computer while some din. Irritating. Haiz. I wonder which idiot took my phone away from me. I believe in retribution. I want justice to my phone!
Back to the new phone, it's slick and professional. Similar to a PDA phone but slightly cheaper. Well, i am not one tat requires very sophisticated handphone. I wanted to get a Samsung U700 to replace the stolen phone, but realise the function isnt as friendly as it it. I tried the phone and was disappointed. Till i saw Nokia E65 promotion on M1 store. It did captured my attention cos other phones failed to attract me.
Been playing with the phone and i am getting used to the function. After all, i was a Nokia user previously. hahhaha... That was like some 3 years ago. The last Nokia phone tat i held was N6150. I would say it is still one of those traditional old nokia phones. whahha... After which, i got myself a new Samsung phone. I remembered it was early 2004, during then i was still a final year student in NTU.
Over the next 3 years, its samsung all the way. 3 Samsung phones in total. X430(cant remember the exact model), E720 then U600. My relationship with samsung wouldnt have ended so quickly if not for the thief. hahhaha... Now is back to old flame Nokia. I have been using Nokia since the early days of handphone. Remember the very old Nokia 3210? whahha... I picked it up somewhere near my house in Kim Keat. Our relationship evolve till samsung came into picture. Its now back to Nokia again. It is time to rekindle our love.... whahhahhaa....

Sydney Part 3
Whoo hoo! This is the third entry in related to my Downunder Adventure! I decide to drop by the wonderful beaches of Sydney. Yep, there are plenty of beaches there. Due to time constraint, i only went to one, Manly Beach. Beautiful beach, with fine sand, waves good enough to body surf and windsurf. However, i din try anything this time cos the weather is way too cold. whahha...
Well, if i stayed in Manly area, probably i will give it a shot. Since i am staying downtown, i have decided to give it a miss. I mean if i were to stay opposite the beach, there is no harm for me to enjoy the cool sea breeze or take a dive in the sea. I can rushed back to hotel to change. Although there are public toilets available, it is just too troublesome. I have to bring towel, sets of clothings. I heard Bondi beach is nice too. Din go. I even miss the nude beach at Watson Bay!!!
I walked around the beach and enjoy the breeze on the bench. ha... Then headed to the shops nearby for food and bought myself a Manly Tshirt! whahhaha.... Headed back to Sydney downtown and its time for Centrepoint or Sydney Tower. Fantastic view of the city. I manage to catch sunset at the tower. Damn romantic! I wish dearie was with me tat time! ha... Its so "mi ren". Watching sunset at a tower 305m above the ground. Lovely!
On the first day i arrived, i took pictures of the harbour bridge from ground level. This time, i decide to climb the bridge. Ha.. Well, i should rephrase, i choose to walk across the magnificent bridge. Climbing to the top of the bridge cost at least A$220. To me, walking across the bridge is
equally satisfying. Once again, it reminded me of the Golden Gate Bridge in San Francisco. The two cities are so alike. View from the top of the bridge is excellent. I saw pple jogging at the bridge, one of them is a Singaporean. Wow! I would do that if i am a student there!
Darling Harbour is another area worth visiting. I told dearie the place is suitable for couples. Yep. Nice bay, calm water, birds flying with Sydney's city view at the back. You will melt. Trust me. I almost melted when i sat on one of the wooden planks by the sea. I cant find a place in Singapore that could match Sydney. Haiz... I really pity Tourism Board to attract tourists here. There is nothing in Singapore worth visiting. If i am a tourist, i will give it a miss or probably come once and thats it. Maybe Chinese tourists may love more! hahahha....
The entire trip is good! I feel very refresh and satisfied when i am back home. Till now, i still have fond memories of Sydney. I am starting to miss the place. hahhaha.... The next time if i ever visit Australia again, i hope to travel from Brisbane or the way to Melbourne in the South. It should be very FUN!

Sydney Part 2
If you haven been to Opera House and Harbour Bridge, it means u have not visited Sydney. Ha... After the enchanting trip to both landmark, it was time for some good rest. The hotel that i booked was a decent 4-5 star hotel. The location and the facilities were good. I like the interior decoration, very nice. As i reached the hotel early, i had an early check in. The kind receptionist gave me a deluxe room. ha... The room was bigger than normal and perfectly comfortable.
On the second day, it was time to move inland. I wanted to avoid the wkend rush to Katoomba, where the Three Sisters stood. Being a veteran on travelling, I knew it would not be good to fight with the local crowd. Headed to the train station and took a 2 hour ride. I would call it country side of Sydney. It is located more than a 100km from city.
Once reach, you get to feel the cool breezes and lower temperature. Well, being more inland is cooler, secondly, being located at some 1000 feet above sea level did add to more chilling experience. Thats wat i love. Our weather back home is simply too hot and humid. Very bad to me esp when i had oily skin.
Met lots of other tourists too, from Mainland China to Koreans. There were many students too. Sometime, i wish i was a foreign student too. Then i would get the chance to move ard to many places. Sad to say, i am only stuck to NTU, the concrete jungle in the west. Big groups of undergraduates were taking photos plus having fun. Envious!
Blue Mountain is indeed magnificent. The area is indeed a miniature of Grand Canyon. I can feel the beat of Grand Canyon. Manage to take a couple of pictures of the waterfall. Well, it cant beat the one in Yosemeti USA. We did some trekking through the thick forest. It was damn fun trekking through the forest at a low temperature. Its like walking in some woods as written in some novels. hahhaha.
Had afternoon tea along the quiet town of Katoomba. Nice little cafe perfect for a short rest. It had a nice interior deco, cosy setting with excellent food serve. It is just the perfect place to sip a cup of tea while enjoying the crowd on the street. This is LIFE! This is the perfect getaway for Sydneysiders from the busy working life. Relaxing! Too bad Singapore cant get to offer this. Haiz....
More updates on Part 3 coming up next. I need to handle some unfinish work from last week. Sianz. Anyway, the leave shall continue till i am back to work on friday. So happy!

Sydney Part 1
Its home sweet home after a tiring 7 hour flight. Wanted to blog tomolo. However, after reading dearie's bro blog, i am motivated to write some of my mini adventures. I rushed back from work last wed to head for the airport for the flight to Sydney. I left slightly early from work but was tasked to handle an impt assignment for the day. No choice. Try to finish it early and seek permission to leave early.
When i reached Sydney Airport in the morning, i was so tired. I couldnt get a good sleep on the plane. Children crying, dry air, confined space were all i had on plane. ha.. Once i stepped into the hotel, i took a good break. It was sufficient. Then its time to head to the street. Oh yes, the weather was freaking good. Cos it was COLD! I love temperature that goes below 20 degree celcius. It was so chilling and its like a outdoor aircon. whahhaa...
I have done some research before i left for the trip, George Street is a good start for us. However, it started to rain somehow. I had to hide in Meyer (one of Aussies largest shopping centre) to wait for the rain to stop. In 15mins, the rain stopped. Yesh! We proceed with our stroll along the street until we reach Circular Quay.
Oh man! It is an UPSIZED plus UPGRADED version of our Esplanade. Its freaking beautiful and magnificient. You can see the important landmarks of Sydney, Opera House and Harbour Bridge. I stood speechless outside Opera House for a few minutes while enjoying the excellent scenery. I simply cant believe i am standing at the heart of Sydney, which is more than 6000km away from home.
I fell in love with Sydney. It would be a good time to relax and chill out along the harbour, with good views n nice weather. Two words to describe - Touch and Mesmerise. I mean if i was there to work, i would head over harbour bridge, get myself some nice coffee and pastry and chill out myself along the bay. Awwww..... Reminds me of San Franscisco. I really feel both cities somehow look similar.
Thats all for first part of Sydney trip. I need to catch some rest. Will give more updates tomorrow. Ha.. I will still be on leave and off till the end of the week. Hooray!

Downunder Again!
Yay! The trip of the year is finally here! After 7 good years, i am returning to the land of Koalas. Yep. It will be a good 7 hour flight before i reach my destination- Sydney. This is the furthest trip for 2007. ha... Well, i have been looking forward to this but lately, i was been too tied up with work.
By the way, this is the second SQ flight for the year. ha... The first one was with dearie to Bali, now is the second time. A friend said the air tix was exp. I did a check on the net but found SQ air tix is compatible to other airlines like BA or QF. I would prefer to take SQ than the "ang moh" airline. hahaha.. Though i know SQ gals treat expatriates better. The air tix cost about $1000. Hey, its already on promotion leh.
Went to change alley to change currency. The Aussie dollars are still the same, same like the ones that i saw 7 years ago. Unlike our dollar, keep changing now and then. I rushed to change alley this afternoon before heading to work. Once reach home from work, i started packing. Its done and i am ready to go!
Oh yesh, I will be staying in some luxury hotel in Sydney. omg! I guess i should give a good treat to my family and myself. hahahha... I need the break badly. Work has been haunting me recently. I will go insane soon if i dun take a break. hahha... 4 months after my last holiday. Damn shiok.
I guess the weather is pretty cool rite now! YESH! That's wat i love. The cooler the better. It is time to put work aside and enjoy my stay in the land of Koalas! Sydney wait for me!

Swinging Mood
I was in a good mood this morning cos of an exciting assignment. It was tiring but definitely rewarding. I mean not many get the chance to visit a construction site unless you are a civil engineer or something. Met some old and new friends while at work. Ha.. One of them is from my former company. Fun!
However, things took to a turn when i reached office. I guess luck is not on my side. There were some hip cups that really stressed me. I have almost completed my task when i was asked to redo part of it again. Wah! That will involve a few pple to help make the necessary changes. I am feeling dizzy and tired cos the assignment was damn early. No choice. I stayed to finish up. It was an extremely long day. 12 hours.... Despite a short MRT ride of 10mins, i slept in the train.
Thankfully, it's off tomolo. Ha... Will be attending a colleague's wedding. It should be pretty fun cos i have never attended a church wedding. I heard they are christians. After which, it will be KTV. I shall sing my hearts out! Oh yes, after a short break from dbl o, it should be fun tomorrow nite. I am so looking forward to my Saturday!

Blur + Mad = Quake
Tremors hit across Singapore this evening at 7.15pm. As usual, my working place was in a big shake up! People running across the office, shouting, conflicting instructions. I heard colleagues from other departments were even evacuated. I guess we were too engrossed with our work. Well, wat i hated most is the disorganise way of handling things. Haiz.
My dinner was interupted a few times. Can I have a peaceful dinner pls?? hahaha.... Other than tat, work has been pretty cool. Manage to contact some pple for my upcoming assignment. We have been receiving tons of mooncakes from various organisation. Well, some were delicious. The most memorable one is the cheese mooncake. It really reminded me of cheesecake. Ha.. My favourite! Oh man! I suddenly have a crave for New York Cheesecake! The one i had at my hotel in NYC!
Talking abt holiday, yesh yesh! OMG! I am leaving for Sydney in a week time! YAY! Its time for a good holiday. I need a break badly! I presume weather should be pretty cool this time. Lovely. It has been some 7 years since i last stepped on the Australian soil! I am so looking forward to the trip! Koala Land, my motivation for the next 7 days!

Handphone Stolen
It was such an uneventful day yesterday. For the first time in my entire life, my handphone got stolen! Damn... I have never misplaced or lost my phone before. It all happened while i was gymming. I left the phone in the locker which was locked! I din carry my phone ard while working out. However, i would check my handphone occasionally to see if anyone called or messaged.
On the third time, i checked my phone. It was missing. I alerted the manager and he carried out an investigation. I am VERY surprised when a check on the locker revealed a security breach! He pulled the door, it was locked. But when he lift the door slightly, the door opened! Shocked! I remained silent and calmed during the whole saga.
I am left with no choice but to call the police. They came and investigate. Samsung U600 gone just like tat. I felt heartache for a while cos the phone was damn new. I think the most 2 months old. If the police manage to nab the thief, i hope he will be charged! I want to bring justice to my phone. More importantly, the gym had to conducts check regularly to ensure that members belongings are well taken care of.
The faulty locker has resulted a loss of my handphone. I expect certain compensation. Nonetheless, what stolen has already been stolen. I have to live with it. Thankfully, i have already stored all my contacts in the computer. At least not tat bad. hahha.. Will be collecting my replacement SIM card later. I hope its po cai xiao zai!

Almost there....
Was out with a good friend this evening after work. It has been donkey years since we catch up. Had a great chat with him. We even caught a cartoon movie by the name of "Ratatulie" or something. It was funny but not too interesting for our age. Well, we wanted something relax and a story that doesnt require much thinking.
Then he put me a question. Do you still club at the same place after so many years? He has toned down clubbing from the same venue but switch to some other clubbing venue or even new actitivites. He asked, when is my turn? ha... Well, i think many of my friends had that question in mind too. Well, i would say, i am getting tired of the venue le.
He is lucky enough to meet new friends for a change. If i had that, i guess i would have left Dbl O long ago. Too bad, the new friends that i met were in Dbl O. whahhaha... Of course there is nothing wrong with the club. It is just the companion that i get to meet week after week to bitch abt life. There is one thing that not many understand, these pple really make me feel relax and forget abt work and everthing. It is purely drinks and bitching.
However, i have to admit, their innocence made me realise how complex the outside world is. Well, there is still this struggle within me. I enjoy their company yet i would like to try other new things. I shall start to psycho myself to venture some other things. Its almost time le. I have been saying this a couple of time, particularly over the last few months.
The inner feel is brewing. ha.... I guess once i put a stop to all these, the entire group may be disbanded. Ha... Sooner or later lar... I need to take a step le. I mean i wouldnt want to repeat the same thing over and over again. Yep. Coming October, it will be my third celebration on Halloween on the same venue. Argh! I cant believe it. Would u call it sentimental? ha....
I remember i started to switch from movies to clubbing cos of Ken. Now that he has toned down too, i guess i should follow his path. Well, he had reduce his visits due to his work commitment. If i had such commitment, i would have quit this place. Nonetheless, he had also chosen to rest at home on a sat nite. Ha.. That is something that i am working on too.
2007 is nearing to an end. Three quarter of the year has gone. I hope in the year ahead, i shall spent my saturday even wisely, considering age is coming up. whahahhaha... Cheers!

"Daring" NSF
Its been few days since i last blog. Too tired from work. Well, the recent NSF guy running ard on the streets with a rifle took to the papers. It was later discovered that there were many untold stories. hahhaa... In fact, i was shocked when i first learned that a young guy like him did such a silly thing. It is something tat will cost him for life.
There were many questions left unanswered. I mean those related to national security will never be known. Many pple are simply curious how did a guy like him manage to smuggle out a rifle. Though it has been reported that he was doing guard duty, i somehow feel there is a security breach somewhere. Proper procedures should be put in place to ensure the safety of Singaporeans. The tots of having a rifle running ard Singapore with no authority is scary!
Some fools said Teo Ming is daring. He wants to make a name for himself. I would think its insane. I am pretty sure he will be caned. There are many speculations abt his love life. Is it really tat screwed up? Only he knows. I am surprised his ex-gf did an interview with the papers. ha... Her blog has been read by many pple. Deleted le. However, blogs are becoming dangerous esp in event like this.
Everyone is scrutinising the life of his ex-gf. Her personal life is almost known to everyone. I saw many pple leaving comments on her blog. I guess the best solution is to remove everything. Within a period of 3 days, she became famous. I think it is something that she doesnt like. Too bad. Blogs are meant to be read. Bits and pieces unveiled.
As i expected, Teo Ming's family will be stalked. I wont be surprised if they found out his school too. His damn whole life will be badly scrutinised. Though his family members are innocent, sad to say, when a crime is commited, the family will be on limelight. I am curious abt the case. Once the trial begans, more unheard stories will unveiled. By then, all media will report intensely, like what happened to Huang Na case as well as the dunking case of SAF personnel.
Its another 2 days of work before my off day. Already looking forward. Ha.. Shall endure hard... Its already mid week!

实践剧场
I am freaking impressed with the latest chinese musical 天冷就回来. I din know George Chan 田伟鸿 could sing so well. He is so much better than Sebastian Tan 陈瑞彪. The songs are fantastic. I really take my hats off to 梁文福. He is so talented, considering the songs that he had produced. Totally engrossed in the musical. Tix are totally sold out!!!
Numerous songs were sang. I heard more than 40. The story was alrite. I guess Raymond Toh is equally talented. I mean he had to incorporate all the songs into the musical. It is not an easy job. Songs kept ringing in my mind when i woke up this morning. In fact, i was singing last nite at dbl o too. whahhaha...
The actors outshined the actresses. George and Sebastian did better than Joanna Dong and Magdalene See. Though there were some technical glitches, but the show was so good tat i guess not many audience would want to complain. Cheers and claps all the way. I am glad i got the front row seats. Really good. It will be the last show this afternoon. Well, the good news is they will stage another round in 2009. I wonder who will be the actor or actress then..... hahhaha.... I will leave you with part of the lyrics
