Welcome Home Olympians!

Its been a week since i last blog. Too busy with lots of things going on. Though i had a good 4 days off, it seems not enough. Met up some friends, some came over to chill, watched the latest tvb serial and taking care of little javier. lol. They occupied most of my time. I think if i have a kid next time, i guess i would be EXTREMELY busy too.

Caught a movie with a friend in the afternoon before meeting up dearie. Saw our paddlers as well as other representatives. Wang Yue Gu looks old on tv, however, she's not tat old in real person. hahha.. I reckon its all the stress that she had, which made her look like wat my colleagues describe as "Mai Cai Auntie". In fact, she looks not too bad, just a bit short.

Then i met Jiawei. Still as cool as ever. What should i say abt her. Many Singaporeans are grumbling over her performance. She is always impatient that probably led to her downfall. If she was as cool as she was in real life, she might have beaten World No 2 Guo Yue. She managed to catch up but lost eventually. Sad la... Her bronze medal gone!

Out of the 3 paddlers, i love Tianwei the most. She's small but damn cute lor. I met her real person and it was NICE! She has this cheery smile unlike her senior Jiawei. Many supporters gave her little pressies and even asked for her autographs. I think she's the real hero! She was the one who took the 2 point lead for Singapore. She's damn cool when she beat Koreans!

After saying so much, where did i meet them? I was in Orchard, then SSC pple were like cheering on the streets. They passed me flags and stuff to cheer the Singapore Team. They were in hippo bus for the victory parade. All olympics reprsentatives were there, including IOC member Ng Ser Miang. It was quite a nice experience cheering for them!

Then i headed to Raffles City before meeting dearie. All atheletes were there and were welcomed home by fellow Singaporeans. Teo Chee Hean was there, so was Vivien! Sad thing to say, only table tennis players, Swimmer Tao Li were welcomed. The rest of the atheletes were like.. dunno wat to do. I saw some young girls trying to take photos with our sailing guys. hahah.. Cos they were cute. Other than tat, other supporters were like bo chap the others! well well.. realistic.

Alright, going to take a rest. Hopefully, i will have more time to blog this week. Cheers!
